I had an issue with my passenger door that was leaking! There's a TSB for it, I took it in and got it fixed. Well, door still leaked but not as much. Turned out it was the triangle piece (which also has a small section of window track) that was causing the leak. I also remember a little bit of noise over 35mph, which sounded more like wind/air noise to me, not so much a rattle. Service writer said they had to order the part in and it was the first time they had to fix that.

I had a leak there as well! They replaced the door seal and it went away but it could be the issue?

The only issue with a new Mustang I've seen at my dealership other than a few batteries was the manual height adjuster lever on my own! It came off in my hand, allwong me to see the crappy design, I got the seat where I wanted it aqnd replaced the lever. A week later, I had to send pics to Ford before they'd pay the $55 warranty claim! They say this in the interest of QC, but they are really just trying to make it harder for us to collect for legit repairs.

Last update was last Monday. They said they think there is something loose or in the Heat Box in the dash. So, they said the dash has to come out to narrow down what it could be. Really hope they take their time and tighten everything up correctly when it goes back in to avoid more/new rattles!

Just over a week since they've had it and I wish I had it back, having withdrawals!

Update #2

I decided to call as it's been 11 days since I've heard anything, for an update of course. All I got was that the dash is essentially fully out of the car, and they still haven't located the source of the problem. Which working in an automotive plant and tearing a lot of cars that just rolled of the line, apart, I understand it takes time so no worries. The senior tech/assistant manager I talked with told me that no one told him that 1- I don't have a loaner car and 2-said he owns a mustang as well and understands how bad it sucks to not drive it when it's beautiful out like it is, so he got with his boss which is the son of the owner, and they are going to "expedite" my car as top priority to get done. Now if that's true, I dunno, but it gives me hope 😂. Guy was really nice about it, my 24 year old truck isn't enjoying this daily driving as it's my winter vehicle, but it'll survive lol. Really hope to get it back fixed and with no extra new noises but will update as we go!

@magic, I know you'll read this, thanks for the support as a fellow atlas blue owner and the #2 on the best looking atlas blue stang podium. #1 appreciates it!

Hopefully what they're saying is true and get on it and stay on it until it's figured out! I know our service department doesn't like cars sitting in the shop and no one is working on it. Taking up valuable space you know 😁.

#2 (yeah right) just ordered a bunch of way bigger trophies off of trophy.com and will be taking pictures of them on the radiator cover in numerous parking lots around the metro. 2 can play this game young squire 😂

Sort of an update, per the ford pass app, for the first time in a week and a half, the car had been driven/moved from within the shop. They put gas in the car and drove it about 40 miles and then parked it outside where the drop off/pick up area is. No phone call yet but from what it seems, i will get a call soon if not tomorrow. Only options of what they say are 1- They fixed it and its good to go or 2- they can not find the source and im SOL. fingers crossed for option 1!

that's kind of what Im thinking, if it were to not be fixed or they were stumped, i don't think it'd be sitting outside. or they would have been a little more motivated to call me today I would think. when they do call to say its fixed, I plan on going and taking it for a nice stroll to ensure there aren't new annoyances, if there is, Sully shall live at the dealer a little longer lol

I bet they test drove it today, no noise. Gonna test drive again tomorrow morning to verify, then call you. Sully rides again!

Well if it makes you feel any better, the weather has been good all week here. So I've driven it to work everyday, 😂😂😂

@Zig was right, the aluminum shift knob gets hot as hell in the sun 🥵. Windshield tinted, feeling in my hand is about all the way back.

6 spd baby!!! #1 reason why 😁

@roadpilot and @Stangerous have done it (sphere is king). RP has a link to his build in here where he shows how to do it. Stangerous swapped out the boot to a manual face so you lose the PRNDM, looks fantastic

I'm gonna have to have @Stangerous give me a list of part numbers and such I need so I can get it all ordered when I get Sully back. I'm going with sphere obviously lol. In August I'm going to do the RTR grille and have it painted gloss balck like the oem is, I think it'll look great on Sully. I'm also interested in having the back decklid wrapped/painted black as well. Kind of like this screenshot, I think it ties it together well.
