I'm gonna have to have @Stangerous give me a list of part numbers and such I need so I can get it all ordered when I get Sully back. I'm going with sphere obviously lol. In August I'm going to do the RTR grille and have it painted gloss balck like the oem is, I think it'll look great on Sully. I'm also interested in having the back decklid wrapped/painted black as well. Kind of like this screenshot, I think it ties it together well.

now take that picture and get a print off poster of it, put it on the garage wall next to #2 so it has a goal to work towards

nebraska is a drive, but who knows where ill drive. i love a good roadtrip. I wonder if the M7G leaders have considered arranging something?

I need to get roadpilots info so i can send him one of those "that was easy" buttons from staples, but change it to "lather, rinse, repeat" and "troll" to save his voice for the meetup, especially if Karguy and his following attend!

@Zig was right, the aluminum shift knob gets hot as hell in the sun . Windshield tinted, feeling in my hand is about all the way back.

Lmk if you find anything less expensive and works as well as the tennis ball otherwise thats the best workaround. Cut open one end and use as a cap. Depends on how snug and how you make the opening sometimes you can leave it on while shifting.

My tint guy owed me a favor, got the windshield tinted 50%. I couldn't go 20% like @roadpilot , I'd be driving over curbs and old ladies at night. So far, so good, and it's been 90 degrees the past couple days. I do need to swipe a tennis ball from my daughter just in case though

Dealer called! Said Sully is good to go. They found a lot of loose shit in the dash that they tightened and added a lot of anti rattle tape to various spots. They said they had 3 different people drive it after to listen for noises, none were observed.

Side note, they said they removed a bunch of rocks from the rocker panels as well. So I guess that kit from needs to get ordered asap.

Now to find someone to go with me an hour to the dealer so I can get Sully

take some gorilla tape with you to close off those holes before you drive back so you don't have to clean them out again before you install the diyvan kit .

She just got done with her 3rd 16hr shift so I won't bug her to make the drive. I haven't been sleeping but 3 or 4 hours a night (morning because 3rd shift) so I'm already up and going and she will be down for another 6 hours or so. A good friend of mine from work is going to take me up in the next little while!

Also just test drove Sully. Noise is gone! Sounds like I may have a new little metallic one right infront of me in the driver's seat but I can investigate further. The steering wheel air bag feels "loose" so I wonder if they didn't tighten the screws down fully when they put it back on

They also didn't put my little felt home made shims back behind the screens when they put them back on so they are buzzing but I will fix that when I get home
