Please note security locknutsI WANT those wheels!
On both of my Mustang's, the dealer didn't bother fitting them. I don't see the point of them really, if someone wants to steal your wheels, they will just hammer a socket over the lock nut anyway. Please note security locknutswas trying to figure out why there were 4 spare nuts in glove box
This sounds like what I need to remove the residue from the stick-on wheel weights on my wife's car...Just a warning when using Eulex -
This stuff is a potent solvent, so it's important to use it in well-ventilated spaces. This is especially important with the base Eulex, the M version is less volatile, but still packs a punch. Wear gloves and expect to bin the towel you use it with. Rinse or neutralize the treated surfaces after use. Also, the base Eulex has a very high evaporation rate, so put the cap back on between applications.
Having said that, I believe both are worth having, they were designed for heavy duty tar and adhesive removal above and beyond what TEA, Orange Power and Fleckenwasser can achieve.

I used it for that earlier this year. Depending on how old the adhesive is, you may still need a little elbow grease and the assistance of a plastic razor blade, but it will certainly help out. This sounds like what I need to remove the residue from the stick-on wheel weights on my wife's car...
I have to admit, I do miss having the chrome pony badge on the grill, I don't think it would look out of place. When I ordered mine, I didn't pay enough attention to the black headlights.
I decided against the black pack because, as much as I like the black badges on the back and sides, I prefer the chrome pony badge on the grille, and I am over black wheels.
I figured I could replace the GT badge and 5.0 badges, and I could wrap the roof if I needed to (I again prefer the body colour mirrors), but I didn't notice how much difference the black headlights make.
Ever since I had my order confirmed, I have been pleading with my dealer to see if I could get the Black Pack added - every time there was a delay in build, I would ask him to see if Ford would allow the change - but to no avail...
Now that I have my car, I am more than happy with it, but every now and then I see those black headlights and think... bugger...
Oh no! Hope you have a fast recovery. Cant have that GT getting dusty. I'm sure you'll be back into it and enjoying it in no time. So, there will be a pause in content for a while. Ive landed myself in hospital with an infection. If there is one benefit to having type one diabetes, you tend to get fast tracked through the emergency department. Still, it’s all about waiting, waiting, waiting.![]()
