Thoughts please. Engine issue or tick?

I am looking for opinions on my engine sound at idle (after warming up). It seems to be always present but a lot worse after this last oil change. I have heard the type writer tick before but I thought it was supposed to emanate from underneath the car on the passenger side. These recordings are taken from the front/right top of engine (drivers side).

I took it to the dealer today to get the two recalls addressed and my cupholder repaired. I told them about the tapping and they immediately played the "You will have to leave the car for a few weeks" riot act.

After finally getting them to let me stay I told them it is hard to make out and the car has to be warm and that I could share recordings for assessment. They instead produced the service bulletin print out about the tick. I asked them to let me observe the engine running with the mechanic so we could agree we were talking about the same sound. They refused. They said they ran the engine for 20-30 minutes and couldn't hear anything. My dash cam indicates otherwise. They ran the engine for 4 minutes after being off for an hour. No one was anywhere in view of the camera during that time.

I was looking for reassurance from the dealer and received none. I'm hoping you guys can offer better assessment.

I listened to each clip. I'm hearing three sounds:

- The typewriter tick, BBQ tick. The tick is not consistent. While it does sound like a typewriter, it isn't like someone is regularly hitting a key. It's like a random typing of keys

- The fuel injectors; this is the most consistent sound heard

- The low, "thumping" sound...from a 6G thread I commented in, someone made a good point: it's the sound of the pulses in the exhaust system

I consider all three sounds normal characteristics of the Coyote. I'm not concerned by anything in the clips.

For those who have not read the Special Service Message of the tick, I've attached that.

You’re hearing the sound of the direct injection pump…. It’s a weird shaped lobe and makes that sound a lot of people aren’t used to.

What could any dealer possible do on their own when Ford says its nothing to worry about. Not trying to downplay your concern however, there is absolutely nothing a Ford dealer can do about this even if they truly wanted to.

I very much appreciate the replies (especially Sky's thorough evaluation)! You have put my mind at ease.

The dealer could have done a better job to earn my trust. They dismissed my concern without evaluation. You guys are different. Thank you!
