Does anyone know if the hitch from a 2023 gt will fit the 2024? Or is this still being developed and just not available.

It's possible. I suppose the only way to find out would be to get one and try? When I was ordering my 24 I asked them about a hitch and they said they would be able to source one for the car only if I didn't get the active exhaust. Apparently the active exhaust system is different enough to prevent most styles of hitch from fitting.

I said screw it and got the active exhaust anyways. I'll wait a few years for someone to design a custom fit for the AE cars. Not like I am going to be able to afford anything to pull around for the next few years anyways and I like the idea of a quiet mode for long trips.

i just wanted to be able to use a bike rack.
My wife's vehicle is the bike hauler, never thought a 24' Mustang could mount a hitch.
Hope you find what you need 👍

On questions like this I go to prominent reputable aftermarket manufacturers (hitches in this case) and see what their year range fit tables say for a specific model number. In your case, if they bridge from 2023 into 2024 in their application tables, I'd feel certain I could reuse one from an earlier vehicle.
Also, I'm finding more and more that using reputable aftermarket manufacturer chat lines or contact phone numbers have provided me legitimate information (when available) on unpublished options.

Any updates? I had one for my 2015 and found it a bit bulky and added extra weight in the rear. Now that I have a 2024 w Active Exhaust and lowered w Eibach Springs so I prob need to go the custom route I believe. I dont want all that extra weight and you can have a fabricator make one out of a hitch tube and just welding some tabs on it to help secure to the frame. Ill check into it and update when I can. Prob just a 1-2 bike deal for me and I have a Kuat Beta rack for 2 bikes. The rack only weighs 14lbs. My hardtail MTB weighs 23lbs and my BMX weighs 18. So not a lot of weight involved I can get away with a pretty small hitch set up. If you are gonna put more than one, say with full suspensions, that may turn into considerable weight and you will have to get the rear end frame bike rack.

i think the Mustang has an official towing capacity of 1000lbs, except on the Dark Horse where its 0lbs. same was true on the S550, EB, V6, and GT technically could tow 1000lbs. GT350, GT500, Mach 1, and Bullitt could tow 0lbs

Sorry to bring this back up, anyone have pics of adding one of the hidden hitches to a S650?
I have the 2024 GT Premium, it has all kinds of wind guides/plastic/etc all along under between the bumper and the axle, so, I'm sure I'd have to have someone custom it or I'd have to cut some plastic, ugh, don't want to do that.
If I did, I'd want to keep as much of the plastic in tact and just carve out the part for the hitch, then comes mounting, making sure it is not lower than the bumper when the extender hitch is removed, etc, etc. probably more trouble than it's worth, because I am NOT gonna jeopardize the look, feel, ride, fun run when not using a pull along. Would not be heavy, just a small light trailer with a few smaller items on it, if ever.
If it has been done, post pics, I'm probably not going to do this, but, curious minds.
I'll probably just keep the Explorer for hauling junk sale / yard sale / antique house crap home in....
