Waze is a popular navigation app on your phone that you use with Android auto or Apple car play. Many people prefer it to standard navigation.

Sorry you don't like the dark screen background. I think it blends better with the rest of the console and is easier on the eyes personally. My guess is that Ford did too.

It's not that I don't like the dark screen, it's just too dark during the day, especially with the top down.

Different strokes for different folks. Waze has day/night also. Thats the nice thing about Android auto and Apple car play. You can you whatever you like.

It's a 25, 60th anniversary. Hence the reason for being on this thread. I prefer to use the built in items, for one reason, I can switch back & forth from maps to music seamlessly.

The electronics are all the same between cars. You can switch back and forth between maps and music with the other systems too. In fact you can have both up at the same time. You may want to give it a try.

I have tried but, you cannot access the music screen from Android Auto, i.e. Sirius, FM, AM etc..
Android Auto has maps & other apps but, not the music sources from antennas/vehicle.

Android Auto takes over the screen.

If I'm missing something, I'm open to options.

Are you connecting via the USB or wifi
The USB cable option isn't a good choice IMO

The sources are there and they still work. I use android auto all the time and listen to Sirius and local radio. Use the arrows on the wheel to change stations. It tells you what you are listening to on the dash. You can also just tap the home screen at anytime to go back to the factory screen while android auto is connected.

There are some good mustang sync 4 youtube videos that may help you navigate easier.

Very cool! Mine got off the train in Denver late last week and is still waiting for the truck ride down to Colorado Springs. Apparently trucks and drivers are a local issue! Hopefully soon for me to get my GT. Congratulations on yours!

I'll have to investigate further. I've not seen 3 different displays like that, only 2.

Press the zoom in/out button at the top right to get the 3rd display. Then swipe up/down on the 3rd display to scroll through what you want displayed there. See the red arrows.

Edit:

You can also change the display orientation (the order from left to right) on the screen by using the little white arrow between the center and right displays .
