Stay away!!! Vile demons!!!!

I am just doing paperwork on my DH Premium now and saying to myself "Yes, you are making the right decision selling your Roush Phase 2 S550. The street is no place for a 50 year old with 750hp. Go back to 500 and enjoy the manual" and then I see things like this.

I cast you out!!!

This IS true however I suppose I'm pivoting and wanting to enjoy the EXPERIENCE of driving more than the SPEED of it. Having had 750 at my fingertips for the last couple of years there are very few, if any, times that I can safely unleash that in the big city and that is just the traffic, not counting the rain or snow or cold weather days etc.

I digress; at some point I may decide that "Hey, why not supercharge it again" as I have learned to live by "never say never, unless it's truely never".

Yourā€™e right and Iā€™ll add that in my case anyway when itā€™s truly never I wonā€™t be the one saying it about me. I figure that having made this many trips around the sun has earned me the right to change my mind at a momentā€˜s notice or even no notice at all.

Yeah I get ya. Iā€™m 51 and thatā€™s why I went for the Ecoboost w/PP and magnaride and active exhaust. Itā€™s mostly being used for going back and forth to work, which is only a mile. I couldnā€™t justify the extra $10k price tag + worse gas mileage + higher insurance rates for the Gt. 315hp off the eco is still more than Iā€™ve ever had in a car this small and nimble (I did have a 97 project that handled much like this but without the Hp)

That said, I AM looking forward to getting behind the wheel of that Dark Horse at the Ford Performance race experience next month! All in, balls out!

I like the retention of the dual throttlebodies but not sure about using 35lb injectors sounds kind of anemic. Should be around 55 to 65 lbs to better support the power injector duty cycle and such. I think both the whipple and magnuson suffer from heat soak as for how bad im not sure. I know procharger has a rig set up with tune for the 24 covers as per their site p1 through f1a head units. Not sure when they will be on sale havent checked in a bit.

Pro charger has their kits up on dealer sites but theyā€™re shown up without tunes, so I believe you can buy the kit, just no tune, so probably not worth it.

Well the belief is that the tune will eventually be unlocked, just not sure when itā€™ll be unlocked. Still would not advise anyone buy a kit that they canā€™t tune though.

Have the phase 2 Roush on my current S550 I can tell you it totally is. However if you live in a major city it will get old pretty quickly. You canā€™t open up all the horses without a cop or some slow driver messing with your day.

There is a super cool drive in the city that I live in with multimillion dollar homes on both sides and twisties and turns and you go down into little valleys and all kinds of other stuff but on any given Saturday or Sunday, there is always some grandma or grandpa driving at 55 to 60 km an hour on that street. Plus the cop patrol it quite regularly because all less middle-aged men like to take our toys and wives or girlfriends there.

I live in a small suburb of Vancouver British Columbia Canada. We have all kinds of driving conditions up here. Mountain roads drives by the ocean twisty back roads and many country roads. The cop's are pretty good out here as long as your not stupid. The only problem we get is like 6 months of decent weather then rain. As for slow drivers I think their everywhere even on the Autobahn lol.

Yeah, but you can drive up the Cocahala (spelling) and go up to Jasper Pass man. I been out there many times and was posted briefly out there on the island to help the Swabbies learn how to fight on land. BC is a BEAUTIFUL province. My son is going to be out there with my mom for a wedding in August. In Vancouver and on the island. I WISH we had your driving weather.
