We are nearing 2025... where is Roush?

Has anyone noticed an abundance of absence from Roush regarding a Mustang variant? Of course they released a supercharger for the new coyote, but wheres their Mustang? Were they this slow to the draw on the s550 as well? Saleen, RTR and Shelby has significantly beaten them to the punch....

We were a roush dealer for about 2 years and I was seriously underwhelmed by their stuff and their lack of support on the service end when we had problems. It seems to me like they don't want to be as big a player as they used to be for whatever reason. Maybe there's more money in parts than entire cars?
We now install Whipple superchargers instead of roush ones and the appearance and fit of the kit is much nicer and the tech that installs them says they are way easier to do as well.

After owning a Roush truck- I would never go that direction again..... when its time to sell the resell is horrible. There is no way to determine a fair price- most wanted to act like the value should be the same as a standard F150 with a few thousand on top because it looked cool- took me literally forever to sell ... the problem is most will want the Ford factory "hot rods" ....I will also say I was completely let down by the quality of the Roush add on stuff- the black plastic faded way faster then the factory black plastic still on the truck.....

I have a Roush CAI on my Ranger, and I can attest to the plastic deteriorating in color. The only thing it can be, is heat.

I've had some Roush components that I was very happy with, the axle back on my '14 GT was possibley the best sounding car I've ever owned, but their vehicles, nah.

I do currently have had a Roush Catback installed (myself) for about 2 years now without any issues. With that said, i did install the rear plastic winglets as well last year but haven't noticed any degradation yet

the exhaust is good stuff … I did like the way my truck sounded and no issues with the exhaust system

Even worse, we have 3d printing, a.i. design … everything you could ask for to bring fresh products to market within months if not weeks.

Failure of a company, shut the doors and turn off the lights, too focused on nascar teams.

The resale value thing is true for all aftermarket conversions. It isn't limited to Roush. If you get anything that isn't coming out of the factory with a different set of options then at resale it will get a blue book value based upon the VIN.

Roush, RTR, Saleen, Shelby --- all of them will be looked at as a GT based upon the VIN by a lender. To the lender that is what the car is. Only a Ford with a designation of something special (like the GT500 or GT350) will be given special value on blue book by a lender.

Take a look on kbb.com or edmunds.com or any of the sites where you can get a car value. The options will be only what you can get from the manufacturer, not from aftermarket add ons.
