They removed the stripe in order to put one piece of PPF on the hood, they did the entire front, the mirrors, A pillars and the back part of the trunk above the lock. They used Xpel film and Xpel ceramic on the entire body and windows. I'm deciding what to do about replacing the stripes, I found a factory set for around $300.00 but am thinking about getting a different stripe with a touch of that dark bronze in it, to go with the bronze package.

Today I finally got the email stating the GT is built. The dealer said it wasbuilt on the 22nd. I wonder how long to get it S.Carolina?

That was an option but the stripes were from the factory and I couldn't afford a full wrap that would have caused a difference in the appearance of the stripes that were covered vs the ones that weren't.

I just had a track pack PPF and full ceramic coating put on. They removed the stripes from the front and those will be replace, I'll post pics when those are done.

Sunny and over 40 degrees so I drove it. That’s what you should do. Just need some top down temperature.

My Steeda Pro Flow air filters showed up Monday. Will be installing this weekend. Have a set of Signature wheels on order. Should be arriving sometime next month.

I just got the Steeda Air Filters delivered today and will be switching out this weekend. Have to wait another week for my Mechanic to install the X-Pipe but I can’t wait for that to happen so I can hear the different pitch from Stock.

My car is getting dropped off Saturday for Revivify coating. Revivify is a silicon based coating similar to PPF. It also has a healing process of MINOR scratches. It self heals when left in the sun.

Got XPEL Fusion PPF and a Wind Restrictor. Should be ready for the season as soon as the holes in the wheel wells get covered up in a couple of weeks.

Hyperdipped my wheels to black. Don’t recommend the price of DipYourCar hyper dip over plastidip, I think plasti dip is much durable and stronger material. I did plastidip on my car in past and after 3-5 coats it was thick layer on the wheel, hyperdip seems thinner than plastidip, even after 7 coats. Let’s see how long they last.

950 miles in, and first wash job today. Did a bit of paint repair on the passenger door (successful). Measured the paint thickness and it's still shrinking.

Put my summer wheels and tires on, and sent the snow tires and wheels to storage. Of course, now it is upper 30's again.

Also emptied the oil catch can to see how much accumulated in the first 1,000 miles. Not bad, only a small amount I figure I need to empty it every 3,000 miles, unless I am doing quite a bit of track driving.
