Again with this asinine perspective. We're all Mustang enthusiasts and can frequent whatever pages we like.
Not everyone here is. Some are challenger enthusiasts and s550 enthusiasts who plan to never buy the s650 and create threads just trolling. Do you not see this?

Choose to ignore them? I don't feel like I should be instructing you on how to act like a normal person.

You see a problem with users of the s650 forum for calling out trolls instead of the trolls? Okay bud

I would like to own this model someday I'm just surprised with all the issues people are having with it that's why I started this thread.
If you trust teenagers on the internet giving their "educated opinion" on cars, everything sucks. Go to a dealership and kick the tires on an S650, I promise they won't fall off.

The mustang has always been a piece of trash. But American consumers are just fine with that.

What's telling is that the Asians, esp the Koreans are able to match German and Japanese precision for far less money.

Ford could do it too. Nothing the Asians do is new, bespoke, or unobtainable, Detroit just doesn't care about quality, full stop.
Newer Toyotas and Hondas are having tons of issues, many serious. Most of the issues we've seen with newer Ford's are pretty mild honestly.

I chalk that up to the retirement of the old guard and the reliance on book taught CAD monkeys getting cute, who have negligible dirty finger nail experience. It used to be Japanese education system was quite good (I spent 9 years in it) but western style tolerance of halfassery has invaded their society. The concept of crippling shame to yourself and to your group used to be a thing. Now the youts think they are allowed to have an opinion.

Ps. Slight exaggeration for effect.

All I'm saying is since this vehicle has came out there have been nothing but complaints about it I mean everyday on here someone is saying something is wrong with vehicle. There are currently 2 safety recalls already now the recall of a possible fire in the manual? I ordered 1 last year and cancelled it immediately after all the bad reports on here. I am on the side of the consumer here since I am interested in this vehicle but for the cost of it should there be any immediate issues?
There's a quote from regular car reviews that hit me quite hard, he said "You can't wait for life to be perfect before you enjoy it".

There isn't a mass produced car, hell, there isn't a mass produced product on earth that doesn't have people reporting issues. I own a maverick, there are people on maverick forums who would tell you it's the least reliable car ever made, yet most people have have zero issues. We almost bought a civic, newer Honda forums are full of people having engine and transmission issues.

I'm planning on getting an s650, and/or a lotus evora in the coming years. Those are both cars people complain about. I've come to realize you'll never find a perfect car, house, job, religion, political party, or life partner, there is no such thing as perfect when you're dealing with the creations of imperfect beings.

You just gotta enjoy the good enough, and not hold out waiting for the perfect, because it'll never come.

I'm gonna have to disagree. Relevant comparisons of average reliability indicate cars in the 90s and early 2000s were having way more issues than modern cars. A comparison of JD powers average issues per 100 cars scorecard shows the most reliable brand from the early 2000s, Toyota, would be one of the least reliable brands, basically less reliable than everyone, if they were still built to early 2000s standards.

The "they don't make them like they used to" argument works against older cars, not in favor of them.

Buy a wide body dodge with low end torque, stylish stuck on fender flares and rotational inertial masturbatory handling.
And then PRAY that it doesn't get stolen or you get Carjacked for it.

Ok so maybe not all have been fully addressed yet as recalls but a lot of people on here with the new model are complaining a lot about this vehicle noises, mis-aligned body pieces, just alot of complaints so far.
Mine was built last June. Early production and I've had no issues. Panel alignment and fit/finish are great.

The front tips of my fenders curved in a bit and were a tight gap to the hood. I loosened the front bolt, they basically sprung out to where they should be on their own and I tightened the bolts back down. Yes, it was quite an ordeal and I was exhausted and didn't sleep well for several days but I powered through it. I will probably just sell the car soon after what it put me through and spend the next few years bashing Ford on the forums 4-6 hours a day.

Car forums are magnets for complaints. We are much more motivated by a negative situation and thus, a new thread is made. Same is true on Yelp when you have a bad meal or Google when a local company gives bad service.

I had a recall service when taking possession of my 2024 ecoboost. It turned out to be a quick fix and I’m very happy with my car.

This forum has been quite antsy lately, what's in the air???
Got 'em shook. Low-IQers shunning the opinions of non-owners that the first year of any new generation has issues.

Again, hope they fix it cuz I'd be a buyer of a new Shelby variant if they do end up producing them and recalls wouldn't sway me.
