For fun, I'll do a poll to see which you all like better.

I have always LOVED aluminum rims - especially the ones on my 2015 50th Anniversary (appearance package), so when I bought my 2024 I wouldn't even look at a car without them. Plus, I've never been a fan of the Performance Pack.

Now, however, the carbonized gray rims from the Performance Package are growing on me. Maybe the silver painted ones are too much of a contrast to the black?

In the pics, clearly the gray rim/tire is just sitting in front of the aluminum one, but it gives a pretty good idea.

Let me know what you think! :)

I know I am in a very very very very very very small minority these days but I cannot stand black wheels on anything. The silver ones you show are the ones that were on the car that I ordered that never came in, the one I did end up with had black wheels and the second day they were swapped out for some light charcoal GT500 look alikes. This my taste I know everybody else seems to love black wheels and the young guys at work rag on me all the time but I just can't stand them..
No hate for those that do like them though

I have the PP wheels and I wish they were not as dark. Maybe a shade lighter. Too bright a wheels can detract and make them too much in your face.

I like the silver better though a medium gray, charcoal, or graphite would look good. Black wheels look good in pictures where there is appropriate lighting. 95% of the time they just disappear. Its become the me too color for wheels. Like image composition you need negative space (dark) and positive space (light) in this case.

Thanks for all of the replies and opinions! I don't think I would like black (which is what I thought the PP rims were)... but the carbonized gray still has somewhat of a contrast to the black car.

For reference, here is my 2015... I definitely like the silver rims more on a silver car.

They are not black they are carbonized grey and lighter in person.
I have them on my car and they're definitely not black 😉

I prefer the Silver ones on the Rear of the Mustang.
They stand out like a,
Diamond in a Goats Ass.
The Darker Ones looks very basic?

I vote for the silver. They are the same ones as on my black vert. I have seen other wheels I like better, design wise, but I think the color works with the black. As others have said I think the gray rims blend into the black too much and aren't eye catching enough. I will say that they probably look better in person, than in a picture. Glenn p.s. your ride looks beautiful, by the way.

The problem with the picture if that its not a apples to apples comparison in terms of wheel design. I think the car would look better with the PP wheel, but if the PP wheel came in silver it might really pop on the car.
