are you going to launch it on slicks/ radial or just do 60mph roll races?

Half shafts. Maybe drive shaft. Do it up front or wait for it to grenade and do other damage.

Personally, I'd also do some suspension changes.

Personally I would do the whole stop the hop kit from Steeda, drive shaft and half shafts. Worth while insurance and safety. Plenty of videos of fast mustangs with stock suspension reacting poorly lol.

It will handle the power. The tires will save the trans. If you put slicks on it and launch hard on a prepped surface, you might ride home next to a tow truck driver.

You don't need to do anything as suggested for your driving.

Half Shaft upgrades are not needed unless you plan on launching the car HARD with slicks/drag radials.

Suspension will also be based on how you plan on driving the car or plans down the road.

Again, you don't have to do anything but bolt the kit up and go. But once you start pushing the car hard you might want to upgrade some things.

I'd plan on upgrading the clutch as you will most likely wear it out fast than stock.

We've been beating our manual GT up for quite sometime with the Stage 2 Whipple kit and 3.50" pulley. Last time the car was on the dyno with some octane booster it made 833rwhp. It's been to the track once and handled everything just fine. We run the Gforce Outlaw axles on that car along with a QA1 driveshaft. I definitely feel the axles are a must if you plan on being hard on the car. Regardless of whether it's on the street or track those will help prevent breakage if any wheel hop is present.

Since our last track outing we have made a few upgrades to the car as we are planning on turning it up with the 3.250" pulley. Ben Calimer was nice enough to offer me a built stage2 transmission along with the 26 spline input shaft upgrade. Since we changed the spline to 26 we needed a new clutch. So Mcleod built us a RXTHD for the car with 26 spline discs. I've got an MGW shifter in there too which feels way better than the stock shifter. Lastly we finally did some shocks and struts since it's a non magneride car. We put on the Kelltrac adjustable front struts and some Viking double adjustable rear shocks. Just putting some break in miles on the clutch now and we should be back to the track once the weather cools down a bit. (If that ever happens down here in S. FLA)

If you need any help with getting a setup together give us a shout and we'll be glad to assist you.
