What is X plan? And how do I get access?

Hi all! New member here
I've been seeing many the term X plan used quite a bit throughout the forum and am still not exactly sure what it is and how I will be able to use it.
I've googled the term and I was hoping sow own could break it down a little better for me!

Thanks!

It is a pricing deal that Ford employees can give to friends and relatives.

If you read the entire thread or take some time to search the forum you would find all the information you are asking for has been beaten to death over and over.

Look at the first post in this thread, if you dont get it then, you must not be reading.

Ah okay!
Do you think that most owners that have access are friends with employees or can someone utilize it without knowing an employee? Perhaps a workaround?

You can join Mustang Club of America for $50 and request an X Plan pin.

You must know an employee.

To clarify this for me:
Xplan = (Dealer Invoice -4%) +275

Does the Ford Build it Site include this in the end Sum, or do you take off the 4% and add the 275 plus Advert Fee plus Fuel fee and the Doc Fee ($100 max)?

Such as this:

Base Price.................... $34,037
Equipment Group 401A ......$1,622
Automatic ......................$1,074
Enhanced Security Pkg ........$358
Premier Trim w/Accent ........$357
Reverse Park Assist ............$267
Navigation System .............$719
Destination Fee .................$825
Invoice Total ..............$39,259
Invoice - 4% ................($1,570)
Advertising 1.63% .............$614
Fuel .................................$58
Document Fee ..................$100
Admin Fee .......................$275
Grand Total ...............$38,736
It's -0.4%, not -4%, but otherwise you are close. X-Plan turns out to be just a hair over invoice.

Spend the $40 it takes to join EAA  It comes up if you are a member.

Edit: It's the first thing that comes up when you log into the Ford Partner Site.

Thanks Tim,
Got the Cert Number, but they couldn't find it in Vincint. I am calling Ford tomorrow to find out what the deal is. I did get 1250 on rebates plus XPlan pricing though.

What is "vincint"? What rebates did you get?

The car needs to be reported sold, then it will post for the eCoupon. It does not show in Vincent. I had my dealer report the car sold today to get the Black Friday done. He should have the EAA credit tomorrow. They are not like the regular rebates or private cash programs. It is legit, just a different procedure the dealer has to jump through to get paid for it. It's not the dealer, they just need to make sure it goes through before they take that money off your deal.

Ford cheaped out on me, stopped sending me private cash coupons, now I end up getting a car with shipping damage LOL.

Thanks again Tim, It all worked out. I checked with the dealer today and got the rebate. A total of 1950 in rebates, plus Xplan pricing.
