Mustang comes when the Wife gets out of NP school
That seems like good deal, does that include rebates? If so u can probably get them down more, but good deal either way. I would get those 100 knocked off, my dealer on xplan didn't even charge it
That is with the 500 rebate and 750 ford cash. If I can get the Doc feed dropped I will.

Just as an aside, using rebates to claim pricing lower than X-plan is incorrect. Rebates can be applied to the X-plan (A and Z plan also) pricing as well unless they are specifically restricted from doing so but I have not run into that yet.

SO I went to look at my car today before I take delivery tomorrow and noticed there was a $5,000 Dealer markup on my SPECIAL ORDER car. I inquired about it and said I have X-Plan and he told me "Well that's dealer discretion" whether or not we will accept it.

I told him that I asked this question BEFORE I ordered the car if this dealership accepted XPLAN and they said they did, I just have to prove it with my PIN and Membership card. I paid the $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit December. Sales guy said "we will discuss it tomorrow when ou come in to pick it up."

What should I do here?? Needless to say I'm pretty pissed off.

Do you have a paper that explains what your deposit was for?

When I ordered my car the salesman put all my information in the system and it generated a summary printout of the options, the option codes, and the pricing. We also estimated the trade in, how much I was planning on putting down, and the amount I needed to finance. He wanted to run a credit check on me before putting the order in so I filled out that paperwork as well. I then put my down payment on the car and left with all the above agreements and my receipt.

Do you have any of this stuff?

Don't you have paperwork on the price when you ordered?

That is complete crap. Talk to sales manager or even higher. Don't walk out without the price they told you or your $500. Make sure they know you will describe this event to the bbb and every online review site you can.

I have a credit card receipt and a book keeping receipt that say "For Ford Mustang Order"

The order sheet that gave me is the MSRP price from the order printout.

I care about infotainment
If the dealer really tries to pull a scumbaggy move like that, a move which is also against X-plan rules, then you should escalate this situation immediately to Ford. There are apparently Ford reps on this board too.

I have a question. At the beginning of this thread it mentions that X-Plan is actually 0.4% under invoice? Is this dealer invoice?

So am I correct? That X-Plan is under invoice pricing?

.4 under+admin fee that usually puts it around a 100 over invoice.

This. It's still a great deal, I usually have to shop around a bit to find someone willing to do invoice + $200. Went out of state for my current car... A no hassle price that's inline, or slightly better? Yes please!

Mustangless at the moment
Plus X-Plan caps the "Administrative Fee" I believe to a maximum of $250 or lower. Most dealers charge $395 to $695 for this "Fee" at least in metro Atlanta.

No need to get upset now. Just make sure you have your PIN when you get there tomorrow.

You know what was discussed and obviously so does the sales weenie...Just remember to be firm, but polite.

Just want to add to the confusion around membership requirements. The dealer is stating that you have to have been a member for sixty days before you qualify. Even though the MCA leadership says this isn't the case, you just need a one year membership. MCA is unreachable and this needs to be settled within 24 hours. My friend is being asked to return his car to the dealer, he's pissed enough to do it.

Does anyone know a person to contact to help clear this up? The dealer is a stone wall. They are actually willing to take the car back with 400 miles on it and lose the deal than fix this.... I'm involved because I showed him this no hassle way and now he's in for the biggest hassle ever. Ford, MCA, and I all look like idiots to this customer.

I don't know the details of X-Plan, but if a dealer did that to me, I would bring the car back get what money I put down back and never talk to that dealership again.

The dealer is correct. You must be a member for 60 days to use the X Plan PIN.

Hey all. I'm comagt's friend who now has a 2015 GT sitting in his garage and is about to return it if I can't settle this with the dealership.

I've known for several months while lurking this forum that the '60 day' clause of the Ford Partnership Program is probably the most confusing of the entire agreement. I've read it, read other owner's testimonials, and made the decision that it meant a membership of 60 or greater days, not necessarily a RUNNING membership of 60 days before being eligible to purchase under X-Plan.

I'm working with the dealer to provide a statement from MCA about my membership, but am also prepared to drive the car back in 24 hours if this can't be worked out. It's a bit disappointing, but rules are rules. I talked with some nice people from Ford Customer Service as well as FPP today but they're both saying this is in the dealer's court.

From the sound of it, MCA is at a show and hasn't been able to return my calls or emails. We'll see how this plays out!
