If you haven't seen it already, the S650s have been getting some new tail light options. With the new rear design, the bumper does have to come off to remove the lights. While it may sound like a pain, it's really only a few bolts and the lower diffuser. But check out how to install these lights in this step-by-step instruction guide and see for yourself. Form Lighting even added a feature that you won't find on similar S550 Euro lights, customization!

Why are these called Euro taillights? The actual taillights on Euro spec S650 Mustangs have amber lights at the bottom of the taillight, while looking red everywhere else. I would prefer Euro spec OEM taillights to replace the US spec.

DOT compliant and marked?

Complies with FMVSS section 108?

Certificate of design compliance available as proof for when you get a ticket for them?

Yeah, I always find that strange why they say that. The only reason what I could come with is because the European tail lights on the S550 where like that. And now they think all European tail lights look like that haha.

Sheesh, you must be a blast at parties. At least your username is accurate.

I'm a big fan of my Form Lighting sidemarkers; glad to see them expanding out into some new options for our tail lights as well. Even if they might not be for everyone.

I am lots of fun everywhere I go

and when it comes to stuff like changing lights out I ask these things because in every town, on every department, there is some Ahole cop that is going to crucify someone for something he does not like and I like to make sure that when that happens the owner of the car has a way to cover their arse.

Conversely if they are not FMVSS 108 compliant and they want to run them on the car and take their chances at least they know they are fair game.

I don't like to give cops a reason for a traffic stop under the guise of "defective equipment: that they use for a fishing expedition.

Prove that the cause for the stop was illegal ( the tint was to federal standards, the lighting was to FMVSS108, the bumper height is in the correct range, the headlights are within the prescribed measurements off the ground, etc) and anything else that happens is "fruit of the poison tree"

Many DWI arrests are the result of some cop claiming a license plate light was out.
