Yes, have a built unit.

Confirmed it was built on May 23rd

even have the NVIS to register it.

Dealer checked today, still at FRAP

Most of ours here in the states are built too. I'm just saying that when our tracker's status moves to "Built" that would be an indication that delivery is getting closer. Canadian customers don't have a tracker according to what I heard. However, when our trackers here in the states get updated to "Built", you will probably get yours first.

it could also be logisitcal problems in the shipping segment, the trucking industry is notoriously understaffed and shrinking fast and the rail industry isnt faring much better

I think people will see some moves tomorrow, as it's scheduling day.

Unfortunate truth.

I am aware of this LOL. And I truly do not believe that all those cars we saw in the drone videos are gonna go back into the plant for any additional work or QC. They are finished cars, waiting for final OKTB. On that note, find the gas FORD.
Maybe they're done and good. But still, if these cars are out in the open for 2 months, it would make ense to have some soft final check before you ship them.

If this is the case, then that would be a reason to start shipping small volumes asap so the staff comes back quickly and ship another load 🙂

thats probaly only good for local deliveries, the issue isnt a lack of trucks to run large volume, the issue is lack of drivers to operate said trucks which means long lead times for contracts as less drivers need to run more loads, running smaller loads only exaggerates the problems because instead of having 100 trucks run 50 routes, youre having 100 trucks run 50 routes 10 times while also having to account for the fact that those same drivers are probably also getting contracts from other companies in the industry and even more companies outside of it. simmilar to what happened with the microchip issue, it wasnt so much a supply thing as it was a "you canceled and are now at the back of the line" thing.

entirely hypothetcal as everything said here, we dont know what is going on at Ford, it might not even be a shippinig problem, just one of the possibilities

Fair enough.

it all depends on what Ford considers a "quality control defect", could be major noticeable things like panel misalignment or it could be something less noticeable like paint imperfections or a small tear in the leather.
they already shut down the lines once for QC issues and they probably did some QC work over the FRAP break last week and are just waiting for this weeks builds to re-verify their fixes. Honestly, considering just how many people are saying that they got scheduled earlier than predicted this week tells me one of two things
either A: whatever they did worked and they are confident to ramp up production
or
B: they are quietly shitting themselves and maximizing productivity in preparation for the UAW negotiations

personally i never planned to see my car before late August so its just interesting to see how this turns out

And that's from the dealership. Now we know about the whole picture. Most our cars are done and ready to go. We're just waiting for Ford's "Ok to buy" decision. So all this talk about shipping and "cars on the way" to Canada or to some USA states is not accurate. And all this "estimated arrival" thing in July is not accurate too. Maybe these estimates are based on Ford's estimated "ok to buy" decision, but it's definitely subject to change.
The vehicles are likely good, and parked there for a minor defect or compliance concern which hints towards a combination of A & B. DTOWN mentions awaiting certification in his message for OKTB which is distinctly known across the industry as compliance testing for self-certification. NHTSA has been found recently to have poor performance when it comes to timing, auditing and finding issues https://www.reuters.com/business/au...al-timelines-defect-probes-report-2023-06-02/ pure speculation of course, but all in all there's probably a heightened sense of urgency to get this right on both ends.

So all the cars sitting there have more than 3 quality issues? I find that hard to believe
My interpretation of this is this: The cars that make it outside are fine, but when the assembly line sees a problem, it gets reported and fixed on that particular car right away and they try to move on...
So, that would mean that all the cars outside are fine and "some" had to get something fixed. But the plant is still aiming to increase production and decrease the number of cars they need to "tweak" on the fly...

Question. So, I live 15 minutes away from Flat Rock for now. Tonight, we have a tornado and flood watch, and we've been getting a hail's warning lately. God forbid, but if it happens and a tornado smashes its way through our outside parked cars, or some thick hails dented our cars, or a flood pushed our cars back inside the plants, do we go back to 3/27 order processing, or Ford would have a plan B for that :).

According to my conversation with Ford, mine was built on 6/9, however it still shows in production. They said mine is complete with no holds, just waiting for shipment. Estimate is 7/17-7/23. I like most anticipate an august delivery.

This is exactly the kind of BS that i'm concerned about. I had no plans on getting my car before August/September, but now that it's built I don't want it sitting outside for months.

On one hand it's just a car, on the other it's always been my dream to custom order a Mustang. This is once in a life time thing for me. I would really like it if it's not dented, scratched, flooded, rusted, etc before I ever get to see it.

I cant imagine there is a plan B. They appear to barely have enough parts/capacity to build cars as it is. I guess next year would be another try :)

Media drives supposed to happen in July idk why but I feel like that’s the major checkpoint to generate some press and then release the cars?

I have a hard time believing Ford lets these sit much longer. From a risk perspective everyday these cars sit Ford plays liability roulette and I can’t believe they are not aware of that.
