In the grand scheme of things, the Mustang is no longer making a profit for Ford due to slow sales this year. They are selling more Mavericks than Mustangs.
I've been trying to give them £62,000 of my money but they won't even accept orders in the UK right now. Cars only sell if you let people buy them...

Meanwhile the Mach-E's are piling up and Ford can't shift them. These EV quotas in Europe are really anti-consumerism.

Crazy thought, but wonder if our used values will be better with the price increase for 25 as well as the color deletions?

Possibly? the MY25 color options are atrocious though. I can never understand corporate logic.

And just like that, I am no longer considering the S650 to replace my s550. Gonna keep an eye out for a c8.
C8 is nice but not for me to put my ass down that low to the pavement! Lol! Hard to get up out of it with my age! I’ll stick with my DH!! Thanks C8 lovers!

Disappointed in the colors for sure. Will have to wait and see how the Magenta looks in person. I absolutely love my Deep Impact Blue and was hoping it would return for 60th year.
I don't know what is happening these days with the colors of all car manufacturer. 5 shades of gray, 3 shades of silver, red, black and white is about it. There are a few exception of course but in general these are your choice. Just look in a parking lot lol.

In the 70's and before you had a lot more colors, beside the usual there was yellow, orange, green, purple just to name a few.

It's like cars today, except for a few models like the mustang, don't seem to have any personality anymore. When I was younger you could tell the make and brand of any vehicle just by looking at it. they all had a personal touch that made them all different. Today they mostly all look the same.

I guess I was lucky enough to choose the 2024 since it seems to be the only year with yellow and the PP and Magnaride.

Let's hope that Ford will come up with new colors in the future and bring back more option to choose from when ordering a car and not only for the GT.

I bought an ecoboost with all the package available on it so I could still feel the experience of having a sport car but without having to pay all the extra for a V8 (taxes, insurances, plates registration more expensive, gas at 2$ a liter etc.), that I can't really enjoy the full potential of it on our streets today anyway.

Sales may be slow.
but,
Some 2024 Mustang Dark Horse customers are waiting over a year to receive their Dark Horse Mustangs!
Something just doesn’t make any sense?
Ford needs to fill orders they have or find other dependable vendors?

Most of the American public and the UAW want auto prices to go down to a pre-pandemic adjusted levels before buying a new car..

I missed out on 24. My order was recently cancelled. Looking at ordering the magenta. Just wish one could see actual pictures instead of digitized ones.

Notorious Blue brakes can be optioned onto the GT

no more Brembos on the EcoBoost
Carmine Red interior on the EcoBoost now just requires it to be a premium high
Red seatbelts are no longer a hidden option

The 12 Speaker B&O Sound system was designed by B&O for the Mustang but are using less expensive Harmon components now. Certainly not worth $995.

Another thing I noticed that I don't believe has been mentioned. The Navigation Service has changed from a 3 yr free service to a 1 yr free service.

Thank you posting this @roket. I just built my car again online and the price went up $6000!? That's in DH territory for 2024! It's hard to tell how much darker that new molten magenta metallic tricoat over the rapid red of years before. It looks pretty sexy though! Still happy with my 2024. Still no eruption green, either, which makes me happy as I LOVE that color with the BAP. I would hate to have color remorse.

Anybody else wish they'd waited til '25?
We’re very satisfied and happy with our 2024 GT Atlas blue.
I’m also surprised they haven’t changed the colors very much. They didn’t add any orange any greens any different yellows just don’t get it.
I can’t believe how much pricing increase for the 2025s

Anyone have an idea as to when we will actually see the Molten Magenta on an actual mustang?
