RHD on the Line at Flat Rock - must have been taken during a shut-down as the line is not moving and so sign of any activity or workers:

and this is a RHD - see Brake Servo mount on firewall (also Video)
(65) S650 Mustang Assembly Plant Video @ Flat Rock | Mustang7G - 2024+ S650 Mustang Forum (Dark Horse, GT, EcoBoost, GT500, GT350, Mach 1)

This was taken last Saturday as they had an open day for employee families and friends only event. Plant doesn't operate weekends hence why it's quiet.

Also for anyone wondering why they had spray painted Mach 1 wheels on the dark horse are a transport rims. That order likely has carbon fibre wheels and are installed at the dealer, I dont know why he was miss informed that they are shortages or "test" wheels..

Hi Valiant , congrats on your arrival. Is your dealer in Sydney and your DH off the Morning Lisa?
Hey thank you! I'm in Queensland. Was on Morning Lisa and unloded Monday, sat at wharf until Ceva was ready to bring it over yesterday!

Haha that was straight from the wharf to dealer. I asked that no PD to be done, but they still have to remove the blocks from the shocks and all. Told them to just remove all stickers on the outside, give it a good clean, and leave everything else + let me do the inside

No PD? The s650 doesn't have a transport mode?

I work at Volvo, part of our PD process is to unlock the vehicle with Vida, so the basics work like locking the car and being able to go over 40kph.

They'll do all that stuff. I meant more of keeping the plastics as they are, don't peel them cause I want to do them haha

I did the same with my 21.5 GT, especially leaving all the Factory Stickers :)

Just a word of caution regarding having the car delivered "as is" -

I would recommend letting them wash the car and prep the car as normal. I know that sounds like a bombshell coming from me, but you want to see the condition of the car before handing over that cheque. I have been shown of a Darkhorse than arrived off the truck with several dents and a scratched-up wheel, damage that got past "quality control" and/or inflicted during transport. You want to SEE that, or at least have the detailer pick up on it and have it rectified prior to delivery.

From my perspective, you are going to have to polish the car anyway, your brand-new Mustang wont be blemish free from the factory.................no car is, regardless of purchase price. So the potential of a few love marks being inflicted during the pre-delivery wash is nothing in grand scheme of things. Just don't let them polish the car, just wash it, pre-delivery inspection, perhaps keep the build stickers and sheets.
