Rear fog light

Can somebody with a European Mustang show me their rear fog light when it's on and when it's off?

It seems that the reverse light unit on the S650 is totally white, while the S550 unit had a red plastic cover for the fog light and the white plastic cover for the reverde light.

I have the US Mustang, but I'm thinking about buying the European reverse and fog light module and find a way to make the fog light work on my US Mustang.

I think we do not have the fog light just as the US Version. Have not received mine yet so cannot confirm but it's different to the S550, seems fog lights in general are all gone (front and back).

Yes you have if you look closely.
On the S550 the middle part is red.
On the S650 the middle part is white, but with a red bulb inside.

Zoom in and you will see that the white plastic has 3 parts with the fog light in the middle.

The rear fog light in EU is mandatory, so they 100% have it.

The picture I attached you can see it better. The white glass has different parts for different light bulbs.

In the second picture that I attached you can also see the rear fog light emblem on the light switch. The US models don't have this emblem on the light switch.

It is there, it is just clear. Similar to the Euro S550's taillights, the Euro foglight cover isn't red.

Activating it will illuminate the center part of the light fixture in the lower rear fascia red.

I cannot think of any other situation where having this annoying thing on makes sense. I hate fog lights and I will never put it on again on my Mustang or any other car.

Fun story: the other day on the highway I had this guy in front of me with the rear fog lights turned on (occasionally here you find ppl who believe it is a good idea because will make em more visible.. even without fog), so I signaled him for a solid minute blinking my own front fog lights so he'll eventually turn em off.. later on I realized that i don't have any front fog lights and I was actually annoying another guy following me...

How do you turn them on and off. Where is the switch no front fog lights?

On cars not intended for the US or Canada, there will be a fog light switch in the center of the headlight mode selector, much like any other recent Ford vehicle, but the fog light logo will be mirrored. Pressing it will activate the rear fog lights, and you'll get an orange fog light logo in the dash.

If your car is USDM or Canada-spec, you will not have it.

did the same before christmas driving in France, there was heavy fog but after it cleared out and a guy was still driving with his rear fog light on as it was raining... (what you should not do, in France it is not allowed when it is raining...). I passed him and flashed him mine a few times to make him understand.

So we don't have any in front but, you have a button where the light buttons are (where you set it to automatic etc.). Had to go take a picture as the search on google images only shows US models, they added it in the selection wheel as a button.

I’ve never heard of Back Up Fog Lights Before, in a Mustang or any other Vehicle .
My 2020 F150 4x4 Limited has Fog Lights only in the Front.
I’ve only used them a couple of times in the Colorado High Country.

All European Mustangs have rear fog light.

Okay guys, I have the same issue and I'm trying to understand what I need to get this rear fog light fixed.

I have spoken to different well educated people on the forum and everybody has a different theory, that makes my search a bit difficult.

So my car is also a US car and I need to get the European rear fog light installed.

Some say that there is NO wiring in the car for the rear fog light because it is a US model.

Some say, there wiring for the rear fog light is already there and you only need to plug the European fog light in and code it with Forscan.

What I know is that on the S550 Mustangs, the wiring is NOT there, and if you want to install a rear foglight on the car you need wiring + coding.

A4techpl has a US Mustang and brought it to Europe and said that the only thing you need is coding.

Anybody can check if the wiring is already there? This will help me big time. I will tag 3 people who I kniw have knowledge on electricity schemes.
