This is no surprise to any S650 owners. It is only news to irrelevant internet trolls.

I'll second this ^^^^^^^^^^ Hopefully this will shut down all the naysayers and 24 Mustang bashers.
It only counts if you actually listen to them. I haven't heard 1 thing that they have to say.

I'm impressed. Now, how would I go about keeping a performance vehicle such as this (EcoBoost or GT) going for 5-6+ years if I want/need to daily it?

Should easily last 5-6 years even if you’re daily driving the car. If you do the oil changes and regular maintenance as scheduled, the 5.0L is a super reliable drivetrain.

Agreed, considering its lineage and engineering, the Coyote V8 should reliably last 200-250k miles, assuming proper maintenance, adhering to Ford's guidelines, using quality fluids, and addressing issues promptly.

With exceptional care and lighter use (avoiding constant high-rpm track abuse), it could push toward 300,000 miles or more, aligning with the upper end of anecdotal reports for earlier Coyotes. Driving style matters: daily commuting with occasional spirited runs will yield better longevity than frequent racing or neglect.

That’s pretty funny as I have both a dark horse and a new gen WRX. I love them both for obvious different reasons.

I haven’t had a vehicle put a smile on my face in many many years……that was until we picked up our 2024 GT premium convertible. Well done Ford!
