I have to assume the CF hood you installed also utilizes the factory hood latch - correct?
If yes, you could do the following. You can get temporary paint protection film in 3 - 4" wide rolls. You could install the hood (with center latch) and apply the film around to cover the body lines...
Death would definitely be a problem. I was thinking along the lines of I don't like it etc. which is hard for me to fathom. I mean who in their right mind doesn't like a Mustang GT.
Good points on the job loss, divorce etc.
Personally, I would pass. Below is why I would pass.
1. It does not have 651 miles on it. It has 853.1 miles shown in the photos.
2. Who put the 202.1 miles on at the dealership after trade in and why.
3. I have the PP and to me the front tires seem to have been pushed pretty hard into...
Your detailing arsenal and attention to detail are second to none. I'm pretty picky about vehicle maintenance and cleanliness. Your detailing is on another level.
Maybe which is why I said appears. I cannot say for sure. Again, no harm in having them without a pronounced spoiler. I did catch the fact he said they were not supplied.
Your profile photo appears to show a non PP front spoiler which if correct means you would not have received the underbody strakes.
Assuming all of the above is correct I do not understand the liability issue you're referencing.
Additionally, even if you had the underbody aero strakes it...
Another note. The strakes channel air out the sides of the vehicle ahead of the rear tires. Channeling out the side lessens the amount of air funneling between the rear wheel/tires. This decrease in air volume out the back decreases the lift on the rear of the vehicle which in turn allows the...
Here's my take on the underbody strakes. They are designed to help with rear downforce. I doubt anyone on here can actually comment on how much difference they make with or without. I'd venture to say a wind tunnel is where the evidence would be.
I'd say they're really designed to improve...
MyKey works for me....... It's my key and I won't give it to anyone else.
Well not entirely true. State inspection will be one instance. I prefer to wait while this is done to lessen the odds of abuse.
I believe Shelby restricts certain parts sales to Shelby owners. In other words, they require proof of Shelby ownership prior to purchase. Not sure exactly what parts are restricted. I think it's easy to understand why they would do this.
As others have stated 150 ft. lbs. If an aftermarket company is making a product that is unable to meet factory specs. said product would be a fail.
I suppose you could check with the manufacture to be sure. I would expect they will confirm factory spec. of 150 ft. lbs. As stated above...
You could be charred by the time rescue arrives with the "jaws of life".
And by the way this is a serious issue I'm bringing up.
Many manufactures that use OEM type "Lambo" or "Gull wing" type doors have changed their designs because of this issue. Just one example below.
"The Mercedes SLS...
Here are a few things to consider...
1. Possible insurance coverage issues should an accident occur.
2. The odds of a roll over (upside down) accident are slim but.... Better hope it never happens and you want to exit the vehicle... because you won't be able to (easily).
3. Roll over + fire =...
I've watched this thread as it has evolved over the past few days. Read most of the comments etc. etc. My guess is whoever had this car was not a true Mustang enthusiast or passionate car person (1st owner). They may have thought they were. My first thought was someone on the younger side. I'm...
If you want to 100% sure remove one lug nut of each type (locking & regular). Not on the same wheel so you can avoid jacking and supporting the vehicle. Set them beside each other and the delta there should match the delta when installed. This assumes the overall conical seat height is the same...
