So can you still choose a colour now that you lost Rap red? its just the bronze package they not certain you'll get it ?

The dealer isn't sure if I can choose another colour. Which would be bat shit crazy if the case. Should find out soon.

Did you sign a contract when you paid your deposit? I just read mine and three's nothing in there that says Ford can do the switcheroo on the spec you signed up with - but doesn't say they can't either.

What might help is the bold print on the front page that says "This is a legally binding contract" which to me means that Ford are legally obligated to deliver what you ordered. The contract only gives them wiggle room on the delivery date, not the spec.

That said, I guess they could turn around and say "fine, we'll deliver the spec you ordered but the delivery date is infinity - still wanna proceed?"

My seg date is 16th Sept, I am hoping like hell my order doesn't need to change cause I want Atlas Blue and the black pack.

What’s your ETA, I assume a week or 2 earlier than mine?

I ordered Vapour Blue with black pack, so assume that colour combo remains and no change to the ETA or order is made.

I don’t know what dealer is at, but I was told that there is an atlas blue manual with black pack in Queensland as a stock car

Its not the contract its the allocations when factory has committed or serialised a vehicle it can not be unchanged. So no colour or spec can be added or removed how ever I believe his car is transitioning into the 2025 he maybe lucky if he didn't get either committed or serialised on vista. When I ordered my 2022 GT back in 2021 the colour I went was velocity blue but then when allocations came in my dealer got bulletin Velocity blue had been discontinued so I had the right to pick another colour.

You might be better off shifting those to Fridays, if I recall reading somewhere that dealers get updates on the Thursday, and it was true.

Just received the below notification from FORD AUSTRALIA,

Ford of Australia has escalated this issue and have requested all orders with black pack get built as MY24.50, with this unfortunately the plant is currently experiencing production constraints on the black painted roof.

I recommend emailing your dealer and asking for confirmation difitally. I emailed my dealer for confirmation of build (i have a yellow vehicle on order), in early July got confirmation email that it will be built to order

2025 Colour confirmed, build month Nov and delivery March. Waiting on actual dates.

Around 2 weeks back my Segmentation was 21/8 & ETA 21/12

Latest Vista update this week is
Segmentation 14/8
Assembly Offline 19/8
ETA 3/12
So that's a bit of a win.

Perhaps they brought it forward to fill long standing orders before switching to the updated specs. Or is that concept a little too advanced for Ford's decision makers?

Hey all - finally heard from my dealer for the first time today (ordered in December 2023 - expected delivery was July 2024 lolz) and just wondering if anyone else is in the same position - he said he’s heard from ford, it’s now going to be a 2025 model and there’s going to be a 3 grand price increase, I went off quite a bit, mostly because I’m the one that has been trying to chase him for updates and have heard nothing. Asked him to email me through whatever he has from ford so I can review, it’s been 4 days and I’ve not received anything, at this point I’m wondering whether to turf this dealer

for info purposes I’d ordered the GT, vapor blue with the black pack
