Yeah that seems to be a EU specific issue. Even their early demo cars had the small lip where ours didn't. Never say never, but I think we're going to be OK on that front.
The Europe guys all thought they were getting the larger spoilers as well...until their cars starting showing up this week....We are talking about Ford here.

Yeah look I'm not betting my house on it because we are talking about Ford here, but the very first EU homologation cars had the small blade spoiler. I've seen many photos on the official Ford EU webpages very early on with the same blade spoilers. Where it had the US one with the gurney flap, it's been left hand drive cars. I've been keeping an eye on those forums as well for a long time and frankly I've always thought they should know what they're getting because it was fairly clear to me. Of course there are many countries in the EU and perhaps the same isn't true for all of them, not sure. Certainly 99% of Ford EU documentation I've seen for right hand drive cars, had the blade spoiler. All of the photos and documentation I've seen for ours had the bigger non-handling pack spoiler without the gurney.

Like this from the UK website for instance:

That's not the spoiler that comes with the early Dark Horses, it's another one even smaller....

It sucks this service from @Ford Motor Company

I would have been unhappy with that spoiler too. But then again I see so many GTs in my area with no spoiler at all. In the end, it can be fixed in the aftermarket if it bothers you, but I get the frustration. From what I've seen it's very easy to swap S650 spoilers.

With the new vehicle emissions legislation very likely to soon pass in the Senate and apply to. Vehicle sales in 2025, I wonder what if any increase that will mean for Mustangs esp V8’s and Rangers?

I got a text this morning from my sales rep with an update on my GT, I now have a VIN & some dates to keep an eye out for! In summary:

Allocation month: July
Status: Serialised
ETA: 26/11/2024
Segmentation date: 29/07/2024

Lets see what happens from here, I still have my expectation set for an early 2025 delivery, but happy to be proven wrong 😅

Can ask when you placed the order or pre-order?

16th of March last year! Not sure if that’s good or bad… 😅
I pre-ordered in September 2022. I have a VIN but no email from Ford or the Ford Performance welcome pack. I just wish I could check the VIN like we could with the S550, it would at least give me something to work with, my dealer is not very proactive.

I'm at the point now where the whole thing is getting me quite depressed.

Ah, right! At least you have a VIN, that’s a positive. When’s the last time you reached out to them and what did they say? Have they sent you a screenshot of your order status etc?

I got my email from Ford in the last week or so, and dealer text me today my screenshot of my order details. All without asking / following up which is great.

No welcome pack yet but now that I think about it, I’ve changed address since I ordered it so maybe the guy who’s now living at my old place is strutting around in a new Ford Performance jacket… 🤔😳😆

Got the email from Ford a couple of weeks ago and an email today from the dealer saying they have been told an expected delivery early Q4 - still think it will be early 2025 (will make the wife happy, as I won't need to get a loan).

For those interested to know more about the Ford Performance Welcome Pack and how to get one once you have a vehicle/VIN, I found this very helpful post from "Aussie Flacon" over on another forum. Credit to him for posting this information.

More information about what the Ford Performance Club is and what the benefits are: https://www.ford.com.au/ford-performance-club/

"For those of you that haven't received their Ford Performance pack (Jacket, bag and letter) ask your dealer to register you on this page: https://www.fordperformanceclaim.com.au/ Mention your jacket size.

You should also register your details here if you have your VIN: https://www.fordperformanceclub.com.au/ and watch this welcome video: "
