On my order I have the black pack with madnaride and the notation on the order says “Magnaride - mandatory red brake calipers”

Your Order stipulates "Magneride with mandatory red brake calipers” ? Good luck with that !

Although Standard with the (US) Dark Horse, Magneride (96D) with the GT it is a stand alone option - as is the (US$500) Red Brake Callipers (18F).

So far there is no reference to the Red Callipers as either a stand alone or package Option offered in Aust'.

Thats interesting, I wonder if the Red Callipers come with the Magneride, or if our Aust Spec GTs get Red Standard ?

If its because of the Magneride, I am very tempted to add it to my order.

The Fiord system notation reads as follows. This was provided in the system on my order by Ford. It’s not input by dealer as a request

Thanks for the screen shot Frostee, really appreciated! Thats verry interesting. I think I will ring my Dealer tomorrow morning, and add Magneride to my order! (I was 50/50 with ordering it anyway).

No worries Stevefreestyle. Probably a good idea to call soon to get the order updated. I have no idea to what point orders can be modified.

ETA AU for my vehicle is 4/1/24 - hoping that’s January but could be April if it’s US format.

Yes I will, although I wonder if it is because you (also) have the Appearance Pkg.... .?????

Your ETA should be our time, and this first round of Dealer Allocations are scheduled for Production Oct-Nov, so Jan 2024 Delivery is possible.

I'm not sure how you have an official order, as the banks aren't open in Oz yet so I'd take it all with a grain of salt...correct me if I'm wrong however

Dealer called me about 2 weeks ago saying that he needed to confirm order because orders were appearing in the Ford system. Details of my order weren’t correct so he added notes correcting it.

He subsequently advised me last weekend that the order in the Ford system now appears correct with my requirements and that I have a confirmed order in the Fire system with an ETA of 4/1/2024

He sent me a screenshot of the order details that I posted earlier today.

I don’t know whether I’m right or wrong, but I have a long standing relationship with this dealer

100% correct and 100% Strange ! You have ordered the Black Pkg and Magneride, Yet the Appearance Pack is listed although it was not ordered, and eliminates ALL other Options - No Black, Magneride or Recaro - which is even stranger with your order.

Seem like some system error ???

the reason Appearance Pack is because it’s stating that it is not available with my options ordered.

if you like it’s “stating the obvious” - in plain English I think it means

- you ordered black pack so you can’t have appearance pack with that option

- you ordered Magneride and you can’t have appearance pack with that option

- you ordered Magneride and with that you get mandatory red brake calipers

Recaro isn’t mentioned because I didn’t order that. If I had, it would tell me what wasn’t available with it.

I’m absolutely clear about what’s going on here and cannot see any “system error”

please convince me I’m not interpreting this correctly

What I’ve said here is consistent with what I discussed with my dealer when ordering with the exception of the brake calipers. It’s only just come to light that my order combination will have red calipers and I’m happy with that (if it happens ;)
