2024 Mustang Australia (AU) Pricing and Timing Schedule

2 Weeks ago I was told that mine (Vapour Blue GT, Auto Black Pack) was suppose to be build in July with ETA on 15/1/25.

I still do not have a Segmentation Date or VIN, but was only contacted recently to confirm my order and price.

I suppose it will be build Aug/Sep, and with the break in the US, I suppose realistically make it to Melb Jan 2025?

Anyone else in a similar position?

Mines due to be built end August with end Nov delivery

Can you please tell m ewhen did you sign your contract, and how soon after were you given your above dates?

I feel that these dealers just don't know/care and when it arrives it arrives?

It is so annoying.

I ordered last year same day as when prices were confirmed. signed same day. Info has been really hard to come by, I just keep nagging for any information.

I have a vista screen shot saying a segmentation date of : Today! (18 July) and an eta of 22nd Oct.
I am dubious that this will remain, as I have ordered the black pack option!

FRAP is in shutdown from July 1 - August 5.

Always good news to get a VIN assigned.
Even better is when you get advised it was actually built!

YS was definitely on my short list.
Push come shove, I wasn't game enough to gamble 100% liking it or not, sight unseen.
Images on the internet are one thing, but seeing it for real can be another.
However, YS could end up being a "rare" S650 colour, as it was deleted for MY25.

Well, when I saw the cancellation of the Yellow colour. I contacted my dealer, to insure the vehicle I ordered will be as agreed.

I wouldn't be upset I'd the colour became a little "rare" lol. This would be my second yellow vehicle, first being a yellow R33 GTST.

I think I have been "shopping" wheels for my S650 for two years now. Because I ordered the Black Package, (Night Pony Package) I get the black version of the PP wheels. I hate them.......................................





Unlike other markets, Australian customers have no choice of wheels other than having them in Carbonized Gray (standard) or black as part of the Black Pack.

I would love a set of the optional Y-Spoke Performance Pack wheels, which are the same sizing with a machined face and Tarnished Dark finish. Being an OEM wheel, it's very unlikely any of the Mustang modifying companies in Australia importing these, and it would be very difficult to import them myself as the import taxes above $1000 are extremely steep............................ask me how I know this.

I also really like the Darkhorse wheel..............................

Last night I found an aftermarket 20-inch forged version of the Darkhorse wheel, which are painted satin grey. Two things make me hesitate, one I would prefer a gloss finish, and the $5500 price for a set of four. That's before tires.

I sort of back myself into a corner with wheels as I prefer an OEM look. For the first time, I have been considering aftermarket wheels, but as usual, the ones I like are not sold here, have been discontinued or simply too expensive.

I got the black pack and also really don't like the std wheels.

Prefer the Nite Pony wheels (called Ebony on the US website), but OEM they won't be staggered for some strange reason.

I'm waiting to see if there'll be a local option. Might also change rim sizes and get new tyres cause Pirelli's are shite (ask me how I know) or wait till the Pirelli's are done and upgrade then (at least I get use out of them)

I'll keep the original rims in the garage.

We are a hard bunch to satisfy.
I also love my Dark Horse wheels, I just wish ours had the handling pack version which is much wider. I love the wider stance. Might need to concider some wheel spacers to push out the wheels slightly. Not legal in WA though

I was also wishing I could get the Dark Horse wheels - I found these Koya SF11's which are close, and at a reasonable price - obviously not in the bronze colour though...
We are not allowed wheel spacers here in Qld either, but my wheel guy can get these as a blank and can machine the extra 20mm offset into the wheel so they sit a lot wider.
I think I will stick to 19" rather than go to 20", but am trying to decide if I should go to a 10.5/11" wide rim instead of the std 9/9.5"

I'm with you on the 20" vs 19" choice. I reckon I'll stick with 19 as well. I'll probably stick to stock for quite some time, but later I'll see if I can get something wider. Problem with going much wider in the front is the tramlining it creates.

It seems only two models, Escape and transit are allowing access and the rest of the models build price on maintenances.
