Yeah will do. That video was compressed trying to upload it to this site last night. So hopefully I’ll do a video this afternoon.

I visited my dealer today, where they have a GT in Rapid Red with the Black Pack.

Main aim was to check front bumper with the Flow Design bracket I have for the front.

Strictly no photos or video (and multiple signs saying that), in respect of the September 14 embargo.
I'm not sure how other dealerships are allowing people to be taking photos, if that's the case?
They also said cars would not be delivered before the embargo lifts, so there is clear difference in how the dealers are treating this release.

Anyway, got to sit in it and start her up.... ohhh that Coyote V8.

I did notice that trunk boot alignment wasn't that wonderful and there was a nasty paint chip on one of the inside corners.

It's getting real.

I went and looked at their car on Saturday. They obviously didn't read the bulletin. You cant stop people from taking pics, its just that they are not allowed to advertise them on their own social media etc. Deliveries are free to go now too.

My current segmentation date is 16th Sept and no word from my dealer about potential colour changes yet. I reckon if you've already got a seg date they won't change the colour. I hope that's true cause it means Atlas Blue could become a rare colour.

Not a fan of Velocity Blue so hope I don't get a call, if I do it'll be leaning towards one of the darker colours

You could be right with the with a Segmentation date, although Segmentation is usually when the Parts availability Inventory is conducted for the individual spec of your car. However Ford have been known to change this date due to unavailability of specific parts. Good luck!

Mid Sept could be just before the MY25 change-over.

Well I am still in a state of incredulity, as after changing Dealers for a better deal, paying a (second) deposit on 02 Nov 23, discovering two months ago I was frozen out to 18th in the que for an Allocation(!!!), ie I did not even have an official FoA Order after over 8 months, I now miraculously seem to have not only an official order, but a Oct '24 Build, with "early 2025 ETA" ! Call me a cynic (which I probably am ), but OMG Can this be real ???

My Dealer also assured me it will be "made just in time for the colour" (Atlas Blue)

I'm in the same boat. After waiting nearly 3 years for my Mustang, the fact that I managed to snag a Dark Horse feels like I burned all my luck in one go.

Make sure you chase your Dealer / Sales Rep/ Car Controller for an Order Status Update - Screenshot. You might be closer than you think, as often dealers communication is not always ideal.

I suspect I possibly only got some positive action because I was emphatic that because some genius at Ford Us deleted the colour I ordered on the MY25, and without any equivalent colour replacement, and with no other remaining colour (mostly Greys and Silver, and dogs-balls blue) was acceptable, all bets were OFF. I also emphasised the MY24 Production was nearing its end. Although that may have been, and probably was, purely coincidental.

Im telling you guys this color is amazing in person changes so much and the short drive I did home was nothing short of amazing. The long wait is worth it and I hope everyone who has been waiting a long time has the same feeling im having now.
