Are you selling up? I just seen exact photos you
Yeah, that's the bloke who came in here and told us all how wonderful the car was, then listed it for sale. Shame on him, how many missed out on a Darkhorse allocation? He basically took someone's spot and then tries to cash in on their misfortune. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for my lowly GT even though I was one of the first to order.
I must admit I bit my tongue when I saw his car up for sale

Shame on him
Yep. The explanation on the ad for sale reeks to me.

I had joy being told my car arrived early and was ready for collection so I did a quick sale of my S550 (happy with the sale) but trouble is my car is still on Morning Lisa.

Dealer confused my phone number with another customer despite a few sms interactions I acted to sell the car and get the funds clear to settle the new one.

Received a VM a couple of days later asking me to call back, which I did. I said my name when he answered and said I’m all good to collect the new car on Friday. Silence - and then said your car isn’t here yet. The ETA is 28 Aug

I referred to sms dates and times and the deadly silence was sad. I felt so bad for him. He did the right thing. I’m now driving a Ranger which will make me happier about selling my S550 pride and joy.

Shit happens. I laughed at the time and I still do. It’s not about making a mistake but all about how you deal with it.

wow will peeps pay 100k? thats almost a 20k profit dam
According to my maths (each state the DA fees are different)
A base gt manual stock was about $86k DA
This one has a tint, dark park, which is 3k, im assuming he had to pay stamp duty etc.
So he would have paid $90k all up?
New buyer would have to pay stamp duty, lct etx of $8k?

Wouldnt this be about 126k+ upgrades landed, so 130k ish.
I am lead to believe he paid $132k all up and is now selling at $135k due to change of circumstance, but its very sus, because it feels like he promoted/staged the car in this forum to gain interest first then posted it on Car Sales, even if I could afford it I would not touch it with a 10 foot barge pole, its left a sour taste in my mouth.

Definitely the whole act/dance= credibility issues.

3k profit of 135k is pretty minimal, i believe people were preordering teslas for 10k profit during covid, saw heaps during the last half where prices came crashing down to rrp

So anyone who buys this DH will fork out 143k ish after fees.

Absolutely crazy when you read people in the US are picking up these from the dealer below MSRP,
What a joke this country is

The fact that he said it was his boyhood dream to own a mustang left a pretty sour taste in my mouth...

I reckon it was less then that. Mine was 119.5k (pre LCT drop) for a Blue Ember DH + Manual + Recaros. I reckon he paid around the 125k-ish

Yeah, no way do I believe that "change of circumstance" to be at all credible. Was it not him who got pi.sed off at the dealer asking if they could display the car in the showroom for a little while because he wanted to take immediate delivery or his boyhood dream? If it was a change of circumstance, then why did he take delivery in the first place.

For anyone in Melbourne taking delivery soon and wanting to swap out the crap Pirelli P Zeros to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, there’s no 275/40’s (rear tyres) at the major supplier that I’m using. They’re bringing them in for me from interstate.

$1500 change over with under 100km on the PZeros

For anyone who’s never had a Mustang with Pirelli’s let me assure you that they are total crap.

Use those Pirellis in drift and line lock mode, abuse it before swapping it out :sunglasses:

Yeah, a low act for sure. He went from being smitten and in love with it at 7.42pm on Tuesday, to listed on Carsales on Wednesday. I notice he dissapeared from here as soon as someone outed him.

How did you go selling your S550? Does a quick sale mean you had to take a drop on what you would have liked to get for it?

Mines due to be built this month so I need to start working out what to do. Expected delivery in November and I'm a bit concerned that values have changed since I did my calculations and ordered the S650 in September 2022.

I wonder what the size of the wheel is? 19x9.5?

I knw the states run 315 rear and 305 front but rer is 19x11. I'd love to run a wider tyre lol
