Well I have a long tale to tell. I ordered a Dh, probably 2 years ago. I was number 4 at my dealer, but they were only allocated 3 so I missed out. I wanted ember blue manual. Around a year later I recieved a call offering me a cancelled blue ember but it was an auto. Wife was set on manual so I knocked it back. Eventually placed an order for grabber blue manual gt. Weeks later get offered another cancelled order, a white manual Dh. Beauty I thought, lock it in. Weeks go by wife isn't super keen on the colour so it killed me, but I cancelled again. 2 weeks ago I get a confirmation email from Ford that my gt is built and due in December. Roll on to lastnight, we are in Nashville and my dealer calls me around midnight local time. Damn, now what's wrong. Well, hello, the third Dh they had,has also cancelled. Grabber blue, manual Dh due for delivery next month. Lock it in I said. Wow it's been a bumpy road but got pretty much what we always wanted, other than the ember blue.

I just received an email from Ford with my NSC order number. However, i got the same email over 5 months ago with a different NSC order number. So has my order changed? Did anyone else get a 2nd NSC email? What's the reason for a new NSC # ?

Have you read any of the posts above about cancelled VINs and NSCs regarding MY24 > MY24.50?

You probably now have a MY25 instead.
Either your black pack has been deleted, or did you agree to the bronze pack?
Along with the new NSC, this information is on the top of the Vista detail.

My recent Vista (last week) showed 24.5MY, and when i reached out to my dealer he said my order is fine, no changes. My Vista showed my previous NSC.

I hope you get what you originally ordered, but I'd be asking for a Vista update screenshot this Friday or next Friday to confirm the details of the order associated with the new NSC.

The NSC number is essentially an order number. A new NSC numbered issued to you means there is a new order in the system for a car. For you to see what car and specs was ordered, ask your dealer for a Vista screenshot of the new NSC number.
If you have new NSC number, the old one and the info attached to it is meaningless.

Contacted the dealer. Seems they put thru a 2nd order with the same specs under my name. I'm to ignore the 2nd NSC order, and my original order is still good. Bit confusing, but im told there's nothing to worry about.

Once your segmentation date passes, what updates should I expect to see on VIsta i.e. does the projected build month get updated?

Just want to know what to expect and how to track progress via my dealer and Vista.

Got an update from dealer last Fri, no changes - hopefully that bodes well for a MY24.5 build, I'm pretty close to the cusp of MY25 and therefore quite nervous about getting what I ordered given the colour and options I've gone with.

i would be contacting them again. I’m not sure how confident I’d be given you’ve gone manual and black pack. My original segmentation date was August 19 which come and went only to be told that they couldn’t fulfil my build. My original build was white manual with black pack.

This waiting, not knowing what is going on is very difficult, especially when it drags on for a year or more. If your segmentation date was maintained, gate release would be ~ 7 days later. (Mine was, at least). GR date is more important, as it means your car was actually built, unlike the segmentation which can be pushed back endlessly. I would hold your breath until two Fridays after the segmentation date, and then find out.

Transmissions aside, unless you specifically want the darkened headlight bezels, replicating a black pack is pretty easy.
The genuine nite pony pack 5.0 fender emblems, rear GT badge and front pony are available aftermarket. Black wheels... I read that a lot of S550 owners were sick of their black wheels, so you could probably find these on the 2nd hand market.

And, I asked a local vehicle wrapping firm a few weeks ago about doing my own Mustang roof. ~$300 for the 3M Gloss Black, and ~$500 for the 3M Ultra Gloss Black. Both have a similar life expectancy. I guess you could wrap the mirrors too, but I didn't ask about that at the time.

The black pack is mostly do-able, but I would hate to think how much the headlight assemblies would be here.
