I'm curious. Your car landed on Friday and its at the dealership by Monday.
At what point (and date) does the car receive its compliance sticker/plate - assuming of course it's a 2025 (Jan or Feb?).

It's a MY2024.5 spec, so compliance sticker isn't an issue.

Atlas Blue and Black Pack are not available on MY2025's either

By a stroke of luck it was built about 2 weeks after the recall notice was issued and for some reason went through quarantine quickly - I'm thinking the trip via Europe instead of Panama might have made it easier to clear with respect to potential to pick up bugs etc...Thats just hearsay on my part though.

My query is more around the compliance plates that are fitted to cars that show it complies with ADRs etc. These I have seen in the past are always fitted to any car imported into Australia, which of course differs from the Build Date plate which is typically fitted to the car once it leaves the production line.
Does the dealer fit it (used to be a aluminium plate riveted to the body somewhere like the engine bay) or fitted by the state road authority (ie VicRoads for Victoria)?
i just thought this would not typically happen over the weekend (as in your car), but maybe the plate was fitted in the US?
I’m just curious.

Just found this info on the Ford Australian web site.
it appears that since 2021, the plates will no longer be fitted to new imported cars instead all details will be on a national electronic register RAV.

All good mate, tbh I hadn't checked it in that detail, trusted the process for ADR compliance.

Was happy just to see it in the flesh and sit in it (didn't ask for the key to start it up, d'oh!)

It still needs to be cleaned and prepped. I dropped by this arvo to hand over the Flow Brackets for the plates and re-iterated to my dealer rep to use these instead of the std plate holders. They're on the passenger seat with my NSC and an instruction to use the angled spacers for install on the front (thanks ALM5.0).

Got the delivery sticker too, the dealer anticipated that I wanted it and was happy to help peel it off with me.

Tempted to go there tomorrow to ask for a start up, might be getting in their way though. Dealer rep is off next Mon and Tue and advised he is keen to hand over keys this Fri.

Yeah the Flow brackets are great! real nice clean install. I went to the dealership and fitted them myself!

Just fyi for ADR question.....if you are asked for compliance for finance, it is now electronic, gov website, pop in vin and it pops out a report even with dates it cleared customs
