On the F150s, Lightnings and Mach E, the latest BCM update cannot be done without a dealer login or proper NFTSA credentials. I did the BCM on one of these cars once, but since I have a dealer login, I didn't experience the road block. I assume it would be the same with these cars, though.
Oh man! I was hoping to get this BCM update done, was all ready to get the WAL, but now I have a $550 mongoose cable for nothing :/

Also is this enough to do the updates?

No, you need a 20amp power supply. I use a Clore PL2320. $100 on Amazon.

Tbh, the very few updates that have been released for these cars so far are small and you can get away with doing them with no power supply at all. However, when the release an IPMA update that takes 3 hours to do, it will be very necessary to have a proper power supply.

When you're ready to do it, message me. I have a workaround, but I can't talk about it publicly.

Wow man, I got the WAL with WAAF to work! Thanks a ton to @rugedraw for his help.
I did not do a BCM update as my did car did not show one on FRDS ($50 waste 🤣)

this is weird, last time I checked with @rugedraw I needed a BCM update as my car was job 1 car (July 2023 built)
But now, I didn’t see a BCM update in FRDS and editing BCM values via FORscan worked like a charm.

Anybody in the Dallas area want some beer to do some of the simple mods for me? Unfortunately $500 for the connector is out of the cards right now but would love a few more creature comforts

Does anyone know if it’s possible via forscan to “increase/decrease the sensitivity of auto high beams”? I ask because I noticed the system is incredibly sensitive to any ounce of light. One street lamp that barely lights up the road stops them from activating, so I wanted to see if there’s a way to have it less sensitive to light like that.

EVERY Ford/Lincoln I have been in is
1) the first to dim high beams in any given situation
2) the last to turn on the high beams in any given situation.
3) it’s not new, has been that way since at least ’17 and probably before.
4) the only thing it seems to not pickup is an OLD car or truck off in the distance with really dim tail lights, but as soon as the brake lights come on, our high beams dim -so it seems like we’re flashing the older car in front. Then you have to fumble to figure out how to turn off the damn auto high beams.

Anybody knows how to turn on integrated turn signals in Forscan?
in both the DDM and PDM (driver door module and passenger door module), you will need to change these values. both modules should be the exact same, so dont worry about the lack of a "PDM" tab in the spreadsheet
