Funny fact after comparing NA vs EU Mustangs.

The radio on the NA Mustang is set to operate for 20 minutes after ignition is off and you are still listening to it.

The radio in the EU Mustang is set to 60 minutes.

In this case the NA Mustang protects the bettery better.

But then we have the USB and sigarete Power thing.

NA Mustang: 1 hour and 15 minutes after turning off the ignition.

EU Mustang: 30 minutes after turning off the ignition.

So it seems Europeans prefer the radio more than the Americans and Americans prefer their dashcam more than Europeans 😂

That's strange, as I have my lunch typically in the car listening to a specific news station and the radio turns off 10 Minutes after ignition off.
Same behavior as Gen6.

Hmm.. I got the numbers straight from your as built data. Wonder what is wrong with the calculation.

Yeah I’m pretty sure mine is 10 minutes as well
Than the information on the spreadsheet is not correct for the Mustang.

Extended Play Time EPT
7D0-01-01 xxxx xx*x xx--

On AS built from @Fruitstang he has value 6.
The spreadsheet says: EPT 60 minutes (FoE)

I have value 0.
The spreadsheet says: EPT 20 minutes

The only thing I can think of then is that there is another setting that overrides this setting.
Maybe a battery saver timer setting somehwere in the module.

Try this:
706-04-01 xxx* xxxx xx--
Set it to (3)

This is the only thing that is not alligned with your settings. It is now set to ROW while your signs are not from ROW but from NA. It's also a line that the others did not had to change because they already had this value on 3.

If this doesn't work I need to look way deeper and will do that on a day where I have more time.
Thank you , thank you , thank you.

That was it, it was looking for the Non NA signs all along, just by changing that code it immediately began reading the Speed signs.

Now, knowing that it has the camera and radar working, then I think I can return to try to put it to work the Smart Cruise Controls. I didn't try the code you mentioned for sky5oh because as you said, those were exclusively for his car, but if it's not much to ask, with the As Built File I already posted, can you verify which would be the changes for mine?

I'm glad it worked. Now your second wish is a little bit more difficult. Adaptive Cruise Control is controled by so many modules, that I don't really know what you have to setup to get it to work. My car already came with IACC so the only thing I can do is to find as many adresses as I can and see if that can make it work.

I already tried it with @sky5oh last time, but it ended up not working. Partially because I later learned that IACC is a very complex system that activates different modules.

But yeah, give me some time and we can do a second try with the information I know have and see if we come closer to the finish line.

Yeah, I'm afraid it won't be as easy as it has been the rest of changes I've done with ForScan but I can definitely give it a try and see what happens. Thank you again.

So you want ACC right? Can you tell me what you already have from the factory on your car?

Do you have:
- Standard cruise control
- Lane Keeping assist
- Lane Centering assist
- Blind Spot System

Because I see you have the Lane Keeping Assist grey logo on your dash that confuses me on what your car has and what it doesn't have in terms of Driver Assistance features.

I have the standard cruise control, Lane Keep Assistant and Blind Spot, I checked as soon as I got the car if I had the Lane Centering assist and I think I don't have it, if I remember correctly, I'm that is related to the ACC or at least that's what I remember I read when looking for it.

How does your blind spot work?

let me just jump in and say that adding adaptive cruise control requires adding a cruise control module, which connects to the engine bay wiring harness. i dont know if vehicles without adaptive cruise control have the connector for it or not, but if not, that means buying a $900 engine bay wiring harness and many, many hours of work for even experienced technicians. plus, replacing the buttons on the steering wheel, and multiple modifications in FORScan

Thanks. Saved me a lot of time trying it again. And I should have known that. Couple of days ago I told @sky5oh about the missing module, but for some reason I forgot about it. Getting old. Thanks for saving me the time, I was already busy with comparing.

Thank you for the input, I definitely don't think it should have an specific module and/or wiring for a base car that don't have the feature from factory.

@GrabThatBlue thank you for your time but I think we shouldn't waste more time than we already have for this one to work. Thank you.
