2024+ Mustang GT Air Intake Filters

Put mine on today. Wiped some silicone spray lube on the filter's internal ribs with my finger tip prior to installation. Both went on OK though I did have to smack them around a bit as Mastermind told us NOT to do (they're a lot tougher than my hand so I wasn't worried about bending, or breaking them). Didn't hurt 'em any.

GT started; ran fine, no codes! All good!

PS: VERY nice NOT having to oil the darn things!

Mine went on with one hand, no silicone, no nada. Easy peasy. Very good fit. Also added oil separator while hood was up.

These will definitely save you money on maintenance cost. Can always keep a backup set of OEMs for when these are drying after being washed so you do not have any down time.

As promised I installed the filters they look nice in the boxes. Install was ok. They are tight so I had to back out the clamp pretty far and wiggle/ rotate back and forth almost like screwing it on, but overall not bad. No codes and everything seems good to go. Here is to checking them in a 1000 or so miles.

I don’t have objective data, just butt dyno, but my throttle response, especially at slow speed has improved, and feels much smoother at the low end since installing the new filters.

That is great to hear! I know dyno values have to be taken with a grain of salt since so much goes into the numbers and there is always some error run to run but using nanofibers does allow for very uniform material and allows for a thinner filter which reduces pressure loss while maintaining OE filtration efficiency. This does mean less particulate loading but I would rather the filtration and flow at the expense of cleaning them more often.
