I believe the 2018 manual GT's ran around 12.6 in the 1/4 and 4.3s 0-60.

Motorweek ran a 4.5 0-60 and the 1/4 mile in 12.4@115mph. Car and Driver got a 2019 PP2 car to run 0-60 in 4.1 and similar 1/4 mile.

Evan Smith ran a 12.2 in a 2018 Mustang GT manual, but thats Evan Smith.

One thing to note is the MT82 is taller gears.
3.55 isn't all that aggressive.
The 255 40 19 tires are pretty tall.
The 275 40 19 PP are even taller, therefore lowering force.

The A10 has a much higher 1st and then tigher ratios.

The Tremec has shorter ratios, that with the 3.73 should make a nice difference.

I'm considering 285 30 tires that are an inch shorter that will push the 3.55 nonPP back up to 3.73.

Those PP tires are tall, wheel isn't wide enough and apparently very heavy.

I don't have any experience with the S550's.

My '06 GT (4.6L 5M, 3.55 rear) only needs one (1-2); getting to 60mph right before the 2-3 shift point at 6250 (Thanks to a Predator tune on 93).

I have never had it timed, but I do know that it shocks many a S550 driver that pull up next to me and try to blow out my eardrums with that annoyingly loud exhaust, when I out run them though 2nd gear, but then they come on strong.

But, I'm old school where stoplight to stoplight wins!

i will say, as much as i want to upgrade to the '24 for its improvement in basically every category, my 2010 is no slouch in the lower end, especially with the boost in power and redline to 6500 on the 3.73, that thing launches amazingly.

I think the question for almost everyone is "Is it worth the money?"
The car is better than it's predecessor in every way but we talk about marginal improvements and a heavy uptick in price...

kind of a shame that its both a heavy uptick and price and priced in line with current inflation. Really a lose/lose here, either raise the price a lot and make consumers mad or dont raise the price as much and start losing money on the car. For me at least, the price is easily justifiable coming from my 2010 and the fact this loaded GT premium is still cheaper than Mach 1s that are being sold around me

I ran 8s with mine - obviously you only had 1 K&N sticker ....should have ran the Flowmaster sticker too.....

Here we go again with the 0-60 or 0-62 for us in Europe respectively. Those figures are so usless these days. I mean who is constantly do that on the roads? If you race someone in the city at traffic lights, you are a bellend to put others in danger.

The times beyond 100km/h for example are that counts in my opinion. Especially on our German Autobahn. True potential of the Stangs always came in higher revs.

There are so many factors that can influence the 0-60 mph that the results must be analyzed taking into account the conditions in which the tests took place.
1. Preparing tacky surfaces will give very different results from everyday reality.
2. Several media will use formulas to adjust the results according to the atmospheric pressure, the latitude... ect, while other don’t.
3. Automatic transmissions will always perform better than manual transmissions on 0-60.
4. In everyday conditions 4WD cars will be faster than RWD cars even though the RWD is a bit more powerful. It's often a matter of grip not power.
5. Electric vehicles generally have better acceleration than gasoline vehicles because their torque is instantaneous.

In short, if 0-60 is most important to you, you should buy an electric vehicle with an automatic transmission and 4WD. If you are looking for a pleasant, fun and fast vehicle, buy yourself a manual GT mustang.
