Tell me you've never been to a 'car show' without telling me you've never been to a car show...
this is the absolute aids of the car community. Dudes with the little signs of their stock vehicles that were mass produced to the tune of multiple thousands of copies. Door hold open bars. Please spare us your embarrassment.

First off, please learn how to use quotes!!🤭

Tell me you've never been to a 'car show' without telling me you've never been to a car show...
Yes, of course, but this one is very specific and even mentioned "Mod". That makes me suspicious.

No shit. Some idiot put a sticker on a car. Remove it and move on.
Genius comment. You have no idea whether or not it actually means something. It's the guys new car, he needs to find out. And, god forbid, it could be something what could cause a warranty denial.

You'd love the 'Brembo' brake caliper covers thread!
Now you're just being ridiculous.

No one puts a plaque like that on a car without something behind it. For warranty purposes you need to find out what was done. Tell Carmax that the car was modified and you have to know what was done. They need to contact the former owner on your behalf and get this information. If they say they can’t tell them to take the car back. You could get caught out with a very expensive repair bill if Ford declines a warranty claim for any reason. Aftermarket, 3rd party warranties will not help as they are even worse than the factory warranty.
I'm working on that now. Went to Ford, and the car is under warranty until April 2027. Of course, they may not know of any modifications (if any) since the car has not been in for service.

Suspicious? Suspiciously dumb previous owner.

Also, you know the 5.0 is a 'mod motor', right?

Which mod that makes you end up with exactly 502hp would void your warranty?

I bet they removed the carbon filters and put in aftermarket air filters... took all gains from the internet to heart.
OP there is no non-forced induction tuning available to add power yet and like others have said you'd notice headers.... I wouldn't be afraid of it.

Even using K&N Filters can be a reason for a warranty claim to be denied.
Well... in extreme over-oiling of the filter situations, yes, they could deny a warranty claim for, say, my car is running like cr@p. But the mere presence of an aftermarket filter is not in and of itself a warranty denial.

They can’t “cancel” your warranty. They can deny a claim. Depends what it is for.
Sort of. A salvage title would cancel your warranty. Also, if you actually sue them under a state lemon law, count on every stealership visit involving extra drama. When I was in the middle of the suit every visit involved a regional rep on site before a wrench got turned. They may still abide by the warranty but it will be with a grudge. I think flood damaged vehicles might also be an issue for coverage, but I’ve never had first hand experience with them.

I'm a baby boomer, I'd love that MOD 502 plaque. Would match my 1970's era Bowling trophies perfectly. The personalized plate for that is available in AZ too!!!
