As you may know the EU versions (I do own a DH) and eventually the UK versions doesn't come with a remote start keyfob (there's no remote start nor the panic buttons), but they can be started using the Ford Pass app (very annoying as it often lag and not very reliable).
I've read about other people trying this and failed (the remote start wasn't working), but maybe they are about those cars with no remote start at all (neither via Ford Pass), but I wanted to give it a try.
I've bought a cheap remote keyfob on Aliexpress, in the specific this one (with all the buttons: unlock, lock, engine start, trunk, panic): https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005007433632329.html (NOTE: the EU version come with a 433Mhz remote, I had to do some research matching the FCCID of my original remote, yours may be different!), it come in a week (superfast from China), and it's of a incredible quality, 1:1 with the original remote, you can even swap the parts between the two (I've switched the original battery cover with the horse logo, and the physical key as it come with a non-cut key of course).
I spent another 30 minutes to find the key slot in the S650, in the S550 it's under the cup-holders, I read on the forums it was in the center console and I thought it was like the Mach-E, a visible slot in the front... but then I finally found it under the "carpet" in the middle console, the key will just lie there horizontally (i placed the keys with the buttons upside/visible).
The programming is the usual one (and yes, you need your two original keys): open the car, close all the doors, place your first original key on the key slot, press the start button (don't start the car, just in accessory mode), wait for 5 seconds (in my case the center display didn't shown anything unusual), shut the accessory mode off, place the second original key on the slot, repeat the process, then place your new key on the slot, turn the accessory mode on, in this case it took like a second to wake up, the turning signals started to blink for a second, then the center display turned on to show: "Key successfully programmed", shut the accessory mode off.
At this point the new key was working like the original ones, and also the remote start (lock + 2 times engine button). Oh I didn't tested the "panic" button, I don't even know what it does, but I didn't want the car to start honking in the garage, I'll test it later. Additionally, the remove rev works as well (enabled it via ForScan, as the EU version comes without it), but it was working already with the original remote (unlock, lock buttons).
Happy rev.
