2020 F150 4x4 Limited. 2024 GT Mustang Premium. Both in Rapid Red.
Where to start.
I ordered a 2024 Atlas Blue GT Mustang last February 19, 2024 & made the purchase last May 17.
When I ordered the 2024 GT Mustang I didn’t really know that much about all the different options.

As fate would have it I was walking around the dealership while I was having my F150 service & and found a 2024 GT Mustang, Rapid Red with Brembo brakes, 10-Speed, 401-A Premium Etc.
We have a 2020 F150 4 x 4 Limited in Rapid Red.
I knew the Rapid Red, Atlas blue and the Yellow Splash were discontinued for 2025.
I didn’t really care for the majority of the 2025 Mustang colors. I couldn’t find any Performance Pack or Magna Ride.
Since this is Colorado 2025 MUSTANG inventory is either low or non existent, We got snow last Friday. When looking West to the Foothills & the Mountains it’s all covered in White Snow with the sun shining on them. A Beautiful sight.
I made the purchase March 31, three days before the Ford Employee discount.
I always go to the General Manger when I purchase a vehicle, I know they put you off on a salesman, but the General Manager has the Power to sell the vehicle as he chooses, just the way it is.
I told him I had an X-Plan #. He said he can beat the X-Plan. I said, show me the numbers.
The MSRP was $55,985.
The X-Plan was $53,321.
The A & Z Plan was $51,212.
The Invoice was $53,250.
My Price was $49,848.
Then they offered $44,000 as my trade in. Which almost paid off my loan to Ford.
My trade in was a 2024 Atlas Blue GT Premium 401-A with the Active Valve Exhaust, with Spare Tire & 10-Speed Automatic..With a little bit over 4,000 miles on it.
I also will receive a Check for $4,444.88 for a refund from my Blue Mustang for the Maintenance plan and the Extended Warranty I never used from my previous dealer.
I think I did OK.
I also got the X-Plan dealer & handling for $150. Not the $700 they usually charge for dealer and handling.

Sounds like a good deal to me. My 2025 GT Convertible Molten Magenta was ordered on Jan 2, built March 16, and delivery to dealer updated the other day to April 12-18. It just missed the train after build so had to wait. I’m in the Springs area and have a great purchase price at Phil Long Ford. I’ll post more on that after I close the deal and have the car. Currently have a 2022 Rapid Red Ecoboost that has been wonderful. Just decided that I’d like to have a V8. Should be great. 😊😊😊

I would have kept the spare tire kit
I was thinking the same thing but I didn’t know if it would have fit over the Brembo Brakes?

Phil Long Dealerships are TOP shelf.
I’ve purchased at least Eight F-150’s etc. from them.
I had to purchase this one from another Dealer. Phil Long Denver had a very limited supply of Mustangs.

You will love the V-8, especially the sound.
The Milton Magenta is an outstanding color.
I’ve only seen one around the Denver area.
Your photo looks like you’re on the Pikes Peak Road?
Your RAPID RED Pony Car looks amazing!

Pictures. Or you really bought a prius.
I have never stared or even casually looked at the posterior of a goat, so I will take your word for it on the color.

So you traded one GT premium for another GT premium in red with brembos? Color aside, I don't see the upgrade from a trim standpoint. All premiums have 401A. The brakes can be added aftermarket.

Actually all premiums do not have 401A — that’s another option!

Nope, 401A is a seperate option. Not all Premiums have 401A.

I looked into replacing the Brakes.
Since I’m not mechanical inclined I would have to have some do the Labor?
Those Brembo Breaks are Quite Expensive when purchased separately.
I thought it was a good idea at the time?
Thank You for your reply.

@IFFV68 ....... I'm pretty sure that deal would be a felony burglary in at least 40 states. Way to go, some times the good guys win one! BTW, when you said - "what did I do?" Man, IMO, you did a great thing. The boss caught me looking at a "loaded-up" 2025 Mustang convertible in magenta red. I might join your club - you only live once!
