Did you notice how the Start/Stop button pressed itself in the Opener montage?
It's not perfect, but it'll do.

I noticed! Well done.

I emailed the dealer today advising that I've ordered the flow design brackets and would they mind fitting them. As part of the email linked them to your vid on YT as a visual "how to" on top of the written instructions.

Ok, I'm confused now.

Looking at what ALM's done I don't think there is a need for a plinth as you can use the angled spacers for the front and the factory points at the back to fit flow design brackets directly to the car.

Am I missing something here? Do GT's come off the boat with factory holders installed that are way too big for aussie plates necessitating removal and adding a plinth?

Correction: I'm unsure whether they are fitted when they come off the boat.

My front bumper is drilled with two small holes. I suspect the dealer did that. They stuffed up putting the wrong plates on the car, so suspect they may have drilled which pissed me off.

I use a Craig's bracket

Correct.
You don't really need the plinth... unless you want to spend an extra $75 for no advantage.
I'd just get the $10 angled spacer kit (which is currently sold out as I type this).

Like most businesses these days, they will find ways to increase your spend beyond what is really needed.

Edit:
The wider pitch between screws using the angled spacers (vs the narrow screw pitch with the plinth) will minimise any tendency for the front plate to wobble around with air pushing against the extremities of the plate.

ie; think of balancing a plate with two fingers underneath close together vs wider apart.
Basic physics?

As I had custom NSW Mustang style plates the factory holder was way longer and stuck out the sides and looked terrible. I installed the Flow Brackets JDM brackets and only needed the hardware that came with it. I ordered the angled spacers but they weren't really the right angle for the angle of the front grill so didn't use them. I just used two circular spacers on each end which came with the brackets, which brought it out enough that it sits flush in the middle and doesn't bend the plate. Solid as.

Thanks guys I'll save my $75 and ignore getting a plinth.

They are supplied in the boot. I recommend grabbing it and throwing it in the bin before delivery.

I got the guys at Signature Wraps in Hume ACT to do the brackets. They spaced the flow bracket out with the round spaces and wedges and made the slim line plate sit flush with the bottom of the front grill. I am not going to change it with a plinth.

I like the look of the Kingpin frames - I went with the Altrex ones but they don't seem to cover the mounting bracket as well.

I had Altrex on my old Mustang, they looked a little crisper, but overall I like the smoother look of the Kingpin's.
