I think you are correct. Just drive faster.

Out of the box, you can't. But there is a FORScan mod you can do that will result in the gear indicator being present at all times.Hi ...quick question...on the 2024 GT...how do you know exactly what gear the car is on without touching the paddle shifters if it's not showing on the dash like on the S 550?
As you note, as I continued adding kms it seems to have sorted itself out. Now on a grade it just unlocks the torque converter and powers up the hill. Obviously part of the tranny learning curve.I had pretty much the same problem. It cured itself at around 1500 miles. Working fine now.
I canât really say.Is this in Normal Mode?? I do remember on my S550 in Normal Mode, it skipped gears (1-3, 4-6, 7, 8 etc up to 10th gear) from leaving from a complete stop. Maybe itâs looking at your speed plus accelerator pressure as you reach the hill incline. Should not be going from 10-9 and back to 10.
Fair enough and yes, have been there before and know about the hills and driving conditions arenât always favorable. Be safe and I agree, let it shift when it shifts.I canât really say.
All I do is drive my Mustang & let it shift when it wants to shift.
In Colorado, we have a lot of mountain driving & some trips. Youâll never hit nine or 10th gear. if you do, you wonât stay there very long.
Since I canât tell what gear Iâm in, itâs something I donât worry about.
