Maybe it has been covered but I couldn't find info by searching the site. Yesterday, I purchased a "BATTERY TENDER" brand 3 AMP Battery Charger and Maintainer.
In a few weeks my 2024 GT will be covered and put away in my home garage for the winter.
The unit has some selections. 12 Volt, obvious. It also has a selection of Lithium and a Selection of AGM/STANDARD.
Tell me if I'm wrong but 12Volt and AGM/Standard would be my setting.
I know I will need to take off the battery cover. I would like to do a permanent mount of the connectors.
Should I use the screws on the battery terminals. The unit has alligator clips and metal eyes as options.
Thanks for any input.

No need to remove the battery cover. You can use the red plastic covered terminal (near black fuse box) for positive and the vertical post nearby for negative.

I think he wants a permanent hook up to the battery. Your suggestion is good for a quick charge.

I did the battery terminal for the positive and then grounding post for the negative. Here is an image of a quick and dirty install until I made sure it all worked correctly. Then I cleaned it up and ziptied the wires down.

If you want to leave the battery in the car, you can use the positive terminal on the fuse box and the ground stud on the strut tower behind the fuse box. If you want to use ring terminals for a permanent install, the ground stud unthreads like a bolt.

The reason you want to use those terminals is so the battery management system (BMS) can “see” the charge going into the battery. That way the system can continue to track and optimize how it charges the battery. If you connect directly to the battery terminals the BMS will not see the battery status correctly.

Yeah I was curious about this too, I’m doing the same with mine. I have a noco charger.
