Another L for the Camaros. The current Mach E looks better than that. By the time this is released. The Gen 2 Mach E will be out with a coupe and SUV variant.
I seen a Mach E the other day for the first time. I thought it was an SUV. If Ford was a religion this would be a Cardinal sin. So would electric powered.

Dodge is learning that people are ok with electric. But not so much in their enthusiast cars.

I expect ford, Chevy, and dodge will have ICE, ev, and hybrid options in most of their products soon enough. The Camaro and mustang will likely both have hybrids from the GT level upward, with ecoboost v8/ev AWD hybrid at the top level.

In California Greusom Newsom wants to mandate no rid his subjects of gas vehicles in 2035. We're not having it.

He won’t be around that long. And the incompetence on display ensures his authority won’t rise above tje current governor level.

We are certainly not having any of that kind of draconian overreach. This is America, not the EU.

Yep. I hope he is recalled very soon. Should bring Ford back to California too. But that won't happen. I knew a lady who worked for Ford. She needed a car, so she bought one that she had a hand in to help build. A T-Bird. She worked the line in building them. But I doubt Ford will be back. The place is a mall now.

Wow that’s awesome. Back when ford was more personal.

Would love to see good old fashioned goodness make s comeback.

California has been calling the shots for 50 years now
we’re going EV per their mandate, as well as the EU.
Maybe it gets pushed back a few years but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

ICE/ hybrid will still be around for trucks and commercial vehicles.

Of course CA calls the shots in CA - and those shots depend on who’s in charge, which depends on the people putting them there.

And as we’ve seen the last decade, there is no guarantee who or what policies tje people will go for. It does seem these days that there is at the very least a significant chance for a seismic shift in California regarding matters such as these.

I'm starting to think the "G" in GM other than Governor or General. I think it's that word we're not supposed to say. You know, the one they call their funny parade, and call each other? It's a sense of pride for them. I heard the CT5 V Blackwing is going to the chopping block. And GM once made some great Macho Man cars.

I think they all need to drop the nonsense and all of the flavor of the month idealism and get back to making great cars that are each pushing to be the best at what they do. Trucks should be capable, EVs should save you money (instead, it’s become the biggest grift, costing an arm and a leg. Never seen so many 70k+ vehicles show up out of nowhere then after 2020 - and claiming to be better financially and environmentally, but being neither in reality. And then it gave an excuse for ICE cars to rise dramatically in price as well) sports cars should be fun, fast, loud, and handle exceptionally well, SUVs should be very useful, economy vehicle should actually deliver grrat efficiency. Etc.

Make Macho Cars Macho Again.

How much longer can the 5.0 survive at this rate? Maybe it would become a special order off road only car priced well beyond the reach of the Blue Collar.

Let's see how many laps one of those E-toys can make around a track before it's dead.
Probably not many. But I've seen Teslas go against other E cars, and it beat them all. Fastest in 0-60 around 3, and the quarter mile is OTW (out of this world). But it's boring and has no rumble of growl. A a 500 mile trip would probably take an entire day because of the need to recharge, not to forget finding a charger. Before the Tesla I'd rather have the Mach E. It's much cheaper, and more like an SUV.

Well, as per @Tomster, his GT500 can’t get through a session at Daytona so it’s not much better than an E-toy. Besides new tech through Formula E will take care of that issue.
I'll bet he can fill up and get back on the track faster though. 😉
