im 40, been wrenching on cars since high school, was an auto tech when in college. have installed several turbo/superchargers over the years (mostly 4 cyl cars), plenty of tools at the house.....BUT Whipples instructions were very good, and a few videos online helped

Just noticed your username, brought me back 30+ years to my 1991 AWD Eagle Talon which at the time was pretty capable. My plate was 944 ETR (again at that time Porsche 944's were hot cars).

Was at a track day at Summit Point in West Virginia when this guy pulls up next to me in the tech area and says nice plate. I turned and looked and he had a 944 Turbo... sigh. LOL.

Can you tell me why you DIY'd instead of having a dealer/tech do it so you're eligible for the $12,500 warranty from ford/whipple.

@135Hoser , no warranty up here. That’s for stage 1 frpp kits.

and going that route is kind of a waste, the warranty isn’t all it’s cracked up to be…
Money better spent on aluminator if anything ever lets go.

If you plan on going to the drag strip, you might have to upgrade your half shafts all by yourself

He's not, its Stage 2. And some things are better off done yourself. I'll do my own Stage 1, rather than some Ford tech that barely or never sees a super charger install, and gives zero phucks about my car.

Who’s guide/instructions did you reference for the oil pump gears?

I did it myself on my 2015 Roush following a video from Signature Speed but wondering if it is the same procedure on the S650.
