Anyone in New Hampshire available to do some forscan work on my '22 Transit?

So, can you clarify the vehicle? Your's is listed as an S550, 2019. If it is, open an account and study the 6G forums. You'll find plenty of threads and should receive feedback if the question is asked there.

Different vehicle entirely. But, you might find some insight trolling 6G. I start with a Google search, "mustang6g forscan tuners, northeast.", or something along those lines.

I had a 2019, now a 2024 DH. Just want to make maybe a couple changes and do not want to go through the learning of using Forscan.

BTW,

I haven't been following FORScan and the S650 closely. It's my understanding the ECU/PCM and possibly the BCM continue to be locked. I'm not sure what, if any variables, can be changed by an individual with FORScan. Roket and others could clarify.

i am all the way across the country from Maryland and cannot help
Am I correct: that while variables can be seen, studied and mapped, nothing can currently be changed?

for tuning, nothing can be viewed or changed for now
for FORScan, everything can be viewed and changed

So, @Cobrakit, just to summarize my thoughts on what I've discovered this AM.

In the thread referenced above, there are things that can be manipulated, mainly non-performance features. But this remains very much an exploratory exercise, as-in, "What happens if I do this?"

The only people I'm aware of with formal insight into the BCM and PCM-type data are the officially-licensed, third party companies, engaged with Ford. While they can create and sell tunes for the equipment kits and packages they sell, they do not offer services or make that information available so individuals can make changes.

If there's something simple you're looking to change, confirmed in the thread above or elsewhere, you might take that to someone with a good rep in your area and ask them to update those specific variables. The local Mustang or Ford club could be of assistance.

Good Luck. :please:

Already tried Google and Transit Forum unsuccessfully, I will try the 6G forum. I am not tuning for performance; want to correct factory whacked out light operations when doors are opened/closed, locked/unlocked. Many on the Transit forum complain about it, and some posted fixed with forscan.

Not sure why you'd ask about Transit on the S650 forum. FORScan changes are largely vehicle specific.

You said people on the Transit forums fixed things with FORScan, but you were unsuccessful getting help there? That doesn't make much sense.
