FPRS Dark Horse Track Attack Video

Hi guys, this footage is from back in July 2024. I attended the Dark Horse track attack two day school at Charlotte Motor Speedway put on by the awesome team at the Ford Performance Racing school. It was an absolute blast, and I highly recommend it.

The instructors were really amazing. I have a decent amount of track experience, and most of the other attendees had little to none; their instructor Bill basically gave me two days of private instruction because I didn't really fit in the other groups skill wise. The school culminated with some solo laps of the Speedway, which is here in this video. Enjoy!

Track attack was a hell of a good time. I’m glad you went. I also posted my videos on YouTube. What a great time and I’m proud of Fors for offering this level of drive training for Dark Horse owners.

It was amazing! The school runs Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires instead of the trofeo RS's, so the car did great in the rain. Other than needing to be gentler and slower with your inputs it wasn't much different.

Yes, 100% go. It was a great time. Whether you're a total novice or very experienced, it's a blast and the instruction is excellent.

In my case, a day full of lead follow instruction that culminated in an open lapping session. Solidifying what you learned the day prior can really help with retention, and that’s very valuable, if you care about improving your abilities in the car. If you don’t really intend to track the car often, and you’re not concerned with gaining those extra tenths in every turn it may not be that valuable to you. You’d have to do that calculus for yourself, but I really felt like I got a ton out of it.

Yeah it’s not cheap! I’m considering the third day as well, but I try to track the car every chance I get and want to be better at it. Compared to $225 for a track night with SCCA it’s a lot, but it’s a very different experience.
