Hello, I have a 24 GT Premium with 401A and GT Performance pkg. I want to get a full size spare tire. The ones I see online don’t fit over the Brembos or cannot be used with the summer tires. Please help.
Thanks

I have been trying to obtain a spare as well. Most places only have one for the 2023. I don’t have my vehicle yet as I ordered it on 5/18 but have never owned a vehicle without a spare tire?

Automotive Authority is worth considering. I'd chat them up about their plans for an S650 package.

I don't see the Ford air inflator system as being useful for anything. The compressor is only good for minor leaks. It runs on the car's battery. The slime material has to be replaced over time, and if used, can prevent permanent repairs on the affected tire.

AA's space saver tire is a quality piece and fits inside the existing wheel well. You can buy the spare itself, or a package, which includes a space saver with a jack and tire iron.

Those taking long voyages or going to remote parts of the country might consider a full-sized spare. See junk yard for a rim and a tire shop for a value tire.

Whatever your decision, compliment the spare with a set of jumper cables. I recently bought this set. These are rated at 350 amps with a 20 ft / 6m run.

Lots of options with cables. Study the amperage rating at a given distance and find a sweet spot. In the example above, the length of those cables should cover me in virtually every situation. If you think you can get by with a shorter run, the cables wouldn't have to be as heavy a gauge. Most sets are made of materials which will stay pliable in cold weather.

I’m living dangerously with regard to the spare. I’m running with just the tire inflator and slime. I know if I have a blowout I will be out of luck, and it could be bad if I’m somewhere without a cell phone signal. It’s a risk I’m willing to take. I’ve been driving for 30 years and in that time every flat tire situation I’ve had would have been fine with the slime, or more likely I would have just had the car towed. I’m just playing the odds.

I used to always carry jumper cables, which I’ve needed many more times than a spare. Now I carry a NOCO Boost jump pack in each car. No need to have anyone jump me off, just hook up the battery pack and in a few seconds I’m good to go.

I have the Automotive Authority and it fits perfect on both my Dark Horse and GT/CS.

I have posted pictures about 5 times.

I carry a spare in my 2011 but in my 2024 I do not because of non square set up. One needs to use the same diameter tires on the rear. I would never use the slime. Just use the pump with no slime. Other than a complete blowout minor punctures in a repairable area of the tire can be fixed with these. I have used in the past on other cars. This will get you to somewhere for a proper repair which will require of dismounting the tire from the rim.

I bet that won't fit in the well. Trunk has not much usable space.😩

I'm in Canada, it was rather expensive but well worth it and yes it does fit in the space for the spare.
