Well if you don't drive that fast in the cities, it can't be normal can it? I kid. I kid. I'm just jealous I have to break the law to have a good time. šŸ˜‰
100mph is 160Kmh, in most EU countries the limit is 130kmh, with a couple of exception (140kmh) and the special case of Germany (where on certain highways sections the max speed is only suggested and you can drive at whatever speed you want, respecting the other safety rules), so it's not uncommon see cars driving 20-30Kmh above the limit (so actually above the speed limit in most EU countries), where there's no speed traps, as "normal" commuting speed.
My rule is to be safe, and don't do stupid things, the speed limits are just a convention (they couldn't do otherwise), because they are high dependent of the vehicle type: going 100mph in a modern car (as a Mustang) is much different than doing it in a small a/o old car.

Not to be dramatic but… I have significant panel gaps on my hood, and driving 90-100 mph on a very windy day, i thought my hood was going to tear off. I’m considering hood pins.

If that's the case, I would go to the dealer and have the hood adjusted. My hood gaps are very narrow and are even on all sides and the front. Yours may need adjusting. I would look into that before installing pins, although the pins look very cool! Glenn

That’s a good idea, I wasn’t aware the gaps can be adjusted at the dealer. I’ll give it a shot.

I’ve wonder whether the GT 350/ 500 hood pins are functionally necessary or just look really cool.

Do you have pictures of your panel gaps?

Depends in the competency of the dealer.

I would like to see a pic as well if you don't mind sharing.

The gap widens approaching the windshield (the close up is the driver side and the larger view is the passenger side). The third pic is the front by the bumper.

Let me know what u think.

That can be adjusted. It needs to be towards the windshield.

Looks like a couple of adjustments need to be made. The drivers side windshield corner doesn't line up.
I’m taking her to a restoration body shop in a couple of weeks. I’ll ask them to adjust it.

Bringing it to my dealer is an effort and I’m not confident in their work. They are not performance oriented and aren’t focused on what passionate Mustang owners are looking for IMO. They should have separate Ford Performance shops for interested Mustang owners.

Jekyll_Hyde,
I am quite sure your gap needs adjusting. I wouldn't spend money, since you are still under warranty. Make sure you take many pictures from many angles before you take your car in. You definitely want proof of what it looks like before they get involved! Glenn

You can adjust it yourself. It's not overly difficult.
