1.5 yrs later....

Regret, no.

Still wishing for tuning and interest in general and sales to pick up for this car, yes.

The temptation to go back to a S550 (Mach 1 or even a GT350) is there, but thanks to the market, many of us are upside down badly on these cars.

Looks like the Mustang sold 2399 units in January 2025 compared to 3771 units in Jan 2024 so -36%.

Good grief. It’s only one month, but still…

Regarding interest, I remember watching parts installation videos on YouTube from LRM, CJ’s, American Muscle, etc., all the time in the early S550 days. There’s barely any videos for the S650. I still don’t think I’ve seen a Borla install video from any of the channels yet, unless I missed it.

OK dont shoot me.....but .....

I still think they made a mistake with the screens (well not the screens but not integrating the screens)
No tuning is hurting
I mean the cars are DAMN fast with a whipple- but I think....well I think we are seeing the same thing with the S650 GT350 - people are tired of seeing the same motor with the same whipple in 1000 different variations - outside of some different exterior mods....the only option is whipple or no whipple and I think people are bored/ over it

How many videos can you do on an S650 with a whipple?

Im not going to get into which looks better S550 vs. S650 because I think they both are great looking cars- but why would anyone move from an S550 to an S650 when you cant tune them and the pricing is way higher ...

I do not hate my screen, but honestly, I've seen FAR better integration of that theme recently in other brands. Ford says they focus grouped designs for the new IP I have to say they did not bring in MUSTANG owners for the groups.

Yeah, they are fast with a Whipple... but that is just that, a $10-12k cost just to get anywhere, NA builds are what most Mustang owners want. Tuning is critical for that,

No regrets here at all. After nearly 4K miles I smile every gear change with the H-Pipe. Addicting sounds to be honest.

Things I miss: The illuminated cup-holder and Tuning.
