Start it up, double push the button on the steering for custom mode, which is set to track exhaust.

No! (lol)

Start it in accessory mode, switch to sport mode, reach for the pony to put in in track mode

Thennnn I start it up!!
I used to do this every single time. Then I stopped. Was fed up to wait 40 seconds for the screen to display the exhaust options as soon as I entered the car...

Sure is slow, I may use a custom mode like the others and maybe save 2 seconds

Start in quiet, switch to sport as soon as I exit my parking garage

Mine is a way longer: fire it up, switch to custom mode (which is set with the exhaust in race mode, and it also disable the stop&start), then I have to disable the speed alert (which is annoying and bugged), then I've to disable the lane assistant (because again the "keep hands on wheel" is bugged) ...and doing this every time.

Me too, instantly to track mode leaving the dealership. Period, always, only.

200 miles now. I don’t rawhide it but neither do I coddle it. Drive it from the git the way it’s gonna live it‘s life. No sense in letting the car develop false expectations!
What he said! Also quiet mode before 10am in the garage....I back in so it will scare the shit out of me if I light it up on track

I also start it up & change the exhaust.
I guess my 2024 GT Premium, 401-A is a different Pony 🚙.
Mine only takes about 10-12 seconds to load the Computer.
Sometimes there is no Lag.
Mine just updated yesterday, January, 16, 2025.
The update was 10.1.1

My main display does take a while to load. But if you single push the start button without clutch or brake, push the drive mode button up twice, it puts you in your last custom mode for start up. Then the main screen can finish thinking about it after startup...
It would be nice if the car started where it left off instead of reverting to "normal". Maybe can change that in settings?

I use remote start nearly every single time I drive. However, my S650 was used (who does that?) and the previous owner had upgraded the exhaust to Corsa, added a performance pack, MT tires, suspension changes, the works - including, unfortunately, a CAT delete.
There is no 'quiet start' for my Lucius (WHERE. Is my SUPER. SUIT?). I try to keep the early or late evening starts to a minimum, at least until I can get the CATS replaced, and get the Corsa Tunable exhaust.
Interestingly enough, the sport and track modes are spot on without a tune, but normal pops exhaust bubbles all the time.

i made it a habit to press "mode up" twice on startup (when its not night or somewhere i should be quiet), which brings me to a custom mode that is basically sport but with the track exhaust and cluster theme. i have the star button set to quiet exhaust for neighborhoods at night or parking garages that i care about
