My next Mustang will be #30, a 24 GT/CS, build date week of Jan 22,, started with a 65 coupe as a daily driver, then owned most performance versions from Ford, Shelby and Saleen. I have had a lot of other brand sport cars, but just something about a Mustang that feels right for me! My current car is a 23 ZO6 that I will most likely sell or trade for the GT/CS when it gets here.

I thought it may be fun to see how many Mustangs some of you mustangheads have had.

This came up as I was reading an unrelated post here on 7G forums where someone mentioned that the '24 would be their third Mustang. I got to thinking how I would answer that question... this could be my first, second, third or fourth Mustang depending on how you look at it. My wife has had three Mustangs, and since I buy them, maintain them and my name is on the title/registration, you could say that they are mine. So, the new '24 would be my fourth one. But my wife had the first mustang before we married, so she bought it and it was only in her name, and I only had to maintain it for a year or two before we got something else. In this case the new '24 would be my third one. If you count all of them as being my wife's car only... she doesn't like me driving her current baby... 2018 in royal crimson (maybe because my right foot is bigger than hers). That would make the new '24 my first Mustang. But her second Mustang (2006) I actually bought for myself... 5 days later, her car had some issues, so I let her drive the new Mustang and never got it back. Since it was mine for five days that would make the new one my second one. I think I will call the new '24 my first, what do you think?

Just made my 33rd financial “Mustake.” From ‘68 to ‘24. Mostly highly modified GT’s, with a Terminator, couple Mach 1’s, ‘20 GT500. Loving this manual PPGT just as much!

Thanks for making me feel old, just realized that I’m on number 5 and will surely get many more.

I had a red 2002 V6 convertible and a blue 2000 V6 hardtop. I presently have a 2003 GT convertible and have an 2024 Atlas Blue GT convertible on the way. The new one is an automatic, the 2003 GT a standard, so I am going to keep the 2003 for now so I can still row the gears when I get the urge.
Here are pictures of the first two, and the 2003 GT - fair bit of active market parts, including a sweet sounding Borla exhaust.

Had a 2017 GT, currently have a Mach-E and getting the 2024 GT.

I've technically had 2 Mustangs, some might argue I've only had 1.

thanks for sharing, how is your mach-e doing? do you have some kind of warranty on the battery/oruerb

I want an ev very badly but i’m not so sure how the battery will hold up. I upgrade my phone every few years just because the battery capacity starts taking a noticeable hit

This 24 GT PP 6sp is my second. My first one was a 89 GT 5sp back in 1991.

Owned 5: (1) 76 Mustang ll, I know back when I didn’t know any better. (2) 68 fastback, with a factory bench seat and 4 speed. It was a major work in progress. (3) 03 Mach1, ending selling it for 06 CTS V. (4) new purchase 2011 Pony Package. Eventually it was given to my daughter for her first car. She kept it until 2022 when she bought her new Atlas Blue ECO. I sold the 2011 and bought my current Oxford White CS.
I also drove about 20 different black and white LX’s when I was employed by California’s Finest. 🍩☕
