If your blend date is 8/8 that’s basically final assembly day on trim line.
I’d say your car is built, unless you have some options like night pony or something requiring to go over to mod it will just be awaiting buy off/shipping.

Blend date = goes to line for production
In Prodution date = completed
so, 5 days
Built date = released for shipping (usually about a week later)
Shipped date = on train/truck (usually a week after that depending on Fords logistics)
Delivery date = the day you meet your new Mustang! (several weeks depending on location)

First agent: Told me it would ship by Aug 31st (date subject to change blah blah)
Second agent: Told me it was still in production and the estimated end time was Oct 18th
Third agent: Told me it was still in production and the estimated end time was Oct 18th

At least the second agent (Aug 15th) and third agent (Aug 16th) were consistent lol

Keep an eye on the Ford tracker. I was able to see my car the day it got to the dealership. I picked it up with 8 miles total on the odometer. Didn’t even give the dealer a chance to call me.

Keep an eye on the Ford tracker. I was able to see my car the day it got to the dealership. I picked it up with 8 miles total on the odometer. Didn’t even give the dealer a chance to call me.

Mine had 3 miles on it. Only one other person has driven him since I picked him up, and that was a one-time thing.
My build date was 09/10, my grandmother’s birthday, and I picked him up four days before my birthday. I was worried because the strike started before my car was delivered, but it worked out. So, I think it was meant for me to have this Mustang.

Please check in with your Salesperson.
He tracked mine from the factory to Chicago, Kansas City, then Denver.
Then commerce city where the rail yard is.
It took almost as long to ship the Mustang from Flat Rock Mi. , to get the Car unloaded from the Train yard in Commerce City, suburb of Denver ,to my Dealership.
My salesman called me the day it was delivered and I went over to take some photos.
Then had to wait a couple of days to get it released from the Dealer.
Wash it, floor mats, etc.

My sales guy is great. He was on vacation for a few days but came back and dug into it. My car was built and is sitting in a yard waiting for shipment.

Any time between now and September 4th but that date can move up I guess.

Chat doesn't know anything, while your car is being built ("in production"), chat will give you nonsensical dates. The part backorders affect scheduling, but the cars on the line already have parts allocated. I'd suggest checking with the dealership next week, they'll have a more accurate ETA soon.

I reached out as you can see in this thread and then my sales guy reached out and all of a sudden the website said BUILT and my sales rep said it's in the yard waiting for trasport by September 4th (ish - since that date can change).

Ford Chat said October 18th lol BIIIIIIG difference.

I just checked their tracker website again and I get shipping date of 10/12/24 to 10/18/24 but my Sales guy said September 4th was the date he saw "but that could change". LOL it's like playing Russian Roulette.
