You might want to keep the Bronco.I just checked the builder, I didn't realize the auto is no longer extra. And I'm guessing the 6MT still has the gas guzzler tax. This may be the nail in the coffin on my Mustang. The only reason I'm considering it is to downsize from my Bronco and Trans Am to a single vehicle. The advantage is less maintenance, more space in the garage (got a few motorcycles and bikes, plus I want the kids to have some space to and be able to grab their toys without help). Also, I love my '02 Trans Am 6MT, but it has the normal 20+ year old car issues and it would be nice to just be able to get in and go without wondering if I'm going to be towed home. Last summer I had to replace the alternator, and then the clutch master, and now it is leaking coolant and I haven't had a chance to look at it, but I know I'll have to deal with it before I break it out for the spring.
And as for the Canadian pricing on here yes it's true Canadians got their Mustangs for a steal of a deal. Not sure if it had to do with the engines being built here or not but my best guess is a combination of a weaker Canadian dollar and lower purchasing power overall in our weaker economy led Ford to make pricing adjustments on the Mustang to keep it competitive, which tbh is the only reason I was able to afford mine in the first place! Just goes to show you how much they really are ripping you guys off down in the states though! It would make sense if it’s built there and sold there for cheaper. If US imported those parts then it would be more expensive.
No. Not everyone wanted the subwoofer. So that's no longer included in the 25. But you can get one that fits in the spare tire well. Just flip the tire upside down and use the anchor screw to tighten down the sub/amp assembly. No spare? No problem. Other companies make spare which fit PP Brembos. The powdered subs are $100-$400 all in one units. They out perform the B&O big time, and are 5-20 lbs each.Unless they changed it for 2025, the B&O system is part of the 401A package. Since the price is still the same at $2,900 I have to believe that is the case.
This is a similar situation in Cambodia where if the car is being imported in, the price of the car would double to buy in Cambodia. If my $71k GT were to be bought in Cambodia it would cost me $142,000 USD. Each country have different fees and up charges, some rip you off some more forgiving. And as for the Canadian pricing on here yes it's true Canadians got their Mustangs for a steal of a deal. For example, when I ordered my 2024 a fully loaded GT cost about $72k CAD which was equal to about $49-51k USD, a base model GT was about $52K CAD which was about $36-38k USD, and an Ecoboost starting at about $33k CAD which is about $22-24k USD depending on time of currency conversion. Of course prices have shot up and rates have changed since then but yes, we got such a good deal on ours there was actually a stipulation in my purchase agreement that gave Ford Canada the right to sue me if I decided to sell my car in the United States within the first year of ownership because I could have easily made a big profit on it.
Thank you Canada. I'm not from the states nor from Canada and because of the cheap prices in Canada I decided to buy my car from there. My window sticker was 76CAD and I think I got it around 73CAD out of the lot and shipped it out of the country. Even with the shipping cost included I got a steal. And as for the Canadian pricing on here yes it's true Canadians got their Mustangs for a steal of a deal.
